Best SUV/Truck for getting to the mountain

Im flying to Detroit then picking up a moter and driving down to PC. Ive never driven in the U.S so I wont one of them cars that screach round corners and the hubs fall off. One that you see in 70's cop films! ha ha ha. Or a convertable thats gonna be wicked in the snow!!

You will all see me coming, left side of the road in a fucked car not suitable for the snow!!

I picked up a 2002 Toyota Tacoma S-Runner V6 3.4 liter 4WD with 25,000 miles on it last october for $15,000. Upgraded leather interior, man, it is dank.

if u actually want to go somewhere, like maybe up a canyon or a mountain, I suggest getting something with some power too, aka not a subaru or any jeep, unless it has V6. subarus are such pussy cars unless its a wrx. those outback are so damn slow. I swear I could ride a bike just as fast up the mountain as a damn outback. my friend had one of those and I would floor it and we would be goin like 25 up the hill instead of 40. and I would rather be first in the lift line, but as always, its your choice...

go with the toyota truck.

Martin_Dlouhy - check out my earlier post... I am sure some people might have issues with the Grand Cherokee, but I can bet you'll have a pretty good chance of getting a bombproof ski vehicle if you go with an XJ.

Anybody seen this video?

No. the Grand Cherokees can be kinda finicky with the V8, but the Cherokee with the straight 6 is uber reliable. I know people driving those with over 250,000 miles on them and they run fine. They have been beaten on as well.
