aright so heres whats up. i no there are A TON of threads about this but i would like to hear some things about both snow fence and outdoor carpeting. I could spend more money and buy some carpet... but i could spend a lot less for snow fence. I just want to know that if i buy snow fence, it'll do what i want it to do.

if you have any cracks in your edges or your edges are super sharp do not use snow fence. yeah its cheap and slides awesome at first when its wet n soapy, but i have some cracks in my edges and it cut the fence up and my tip got caught under the fence and it threw me. the stuff doesnt hold up well. if you have nonbroken dull edges its fine, but if your beaters will cut it up go with astro turf strips

is snowfence the thin tape-like orange fence or the thicker stuff?

I have the stiffer plastic orange fence, yet to be tried. That stuff apparently works pretty well too.

I was at home depot a few weeks ago and there was an 8' x 10' roll of outdoor carpeting and it was less than $20 but not too sure. Id say buy at least one roll of that and cut it up for your setup then maybe buy some fence if you need more speed. Just make sure you nail it down or you will get bucked to the head. And for your drop in, go to Home Depot and get the "used" 2 x 4's for really cheap and build a drop in with that.

Get an invite to the Build a jib cult ASAP. Such a good cult.

i got some outdoor carpet last season for free, but it was old and had holes in it and shit, plus i don't think it was long or thick enough because it didn't slide very well at all
