hey, i just built a dropin with a 10 ft rail off it, and we are having problems holding enough speed for the whole rail, any suggestions on a fast er better surface for the drop in other than carpet? i can't find snowfence at the hardware store...

try putting some of that orange mesh type construction fencing over the carpet, it'll help you get some more speed, its free, and pretty easy to find usually.

hmm i had the same problem with mine, it doents matter what you use you need to fix your ramp and make it steeper.

if you have astroturf then it slides alot better with soap on it. or you can just get snow because it starting to get cold outside

i was thinking astroturff too, its pretty steep, almost like a quarter pipe, the carpets just sticks to my bases a bit

All great suggestions, but i unfortunately share it with a snowboarder and he was bitching he wouldn't be able to use it if i put handles on it...

snow. I know. But turf and clear out the rocks and you can use the grass when it's wet. Next year i am going to try ice rink shavings with Liquid nitrogen under it

turf definetely. or if you live near an ice rink they usually dump all the excess snow out back so you could truck your rails up there and jib it up with some real snow
