Best street skiers of all time

Waddup everyone, hope everyone's still staying sane.

With real ski goin down recently the thought of street skiing is heavy on our minds. Me and some boys in a group chat were discussing the best street skiers of all time (subjectively of course) and I'm curious to hear what the NS community thinks.

My top 3 in no order are: BDOG/AHMET/CLAYTON VILA... It's so hard to choose but that's what I got. Let's hear it folks.

I've always thought LJ needs to be more talked about as one of the all time urban greats.

The urban seg in Revolver is literally what made me switch to skiing from snowboarding, his RealSki is one of the best of all time (IMO), not to mention his countless other edits and parts AND everything in LTC.

Not to mention he's cool af and chimes in on NS every now and then.

I’m not saying mango is the best street skier out there, but what I am saying is if he keeps on improving the way he is improving, then he will be up there. He is creative and really skilled, I would love to see a movie come out with him in it.

Wallisch more a part of the streets than my mom when she's working the corner. Dude has killed it forever. Even his send off the other year was the most unreasonably huge spots stomped hard af. Anyone sleeping on him needs to do less drugs and wake the fuck up. #mancrushmaybekinda

Clayton Vila for me. Tom Wallisch, Phil Casabon, Harlaut, Hornbeck, Ahmet, Berman, LJ, and basically all of Stept all deserve a mention. Dima Makrushin gets slept on too. Rn Mango, Hackel, Zahner, LSM all putting out insane shit, but not really in the goat conversation yet for me... Regardless Clayton's 'the eighty six' segment was years ahead of the game and his mutiny segment is honestly the best urban segment ever for me.

Wallisch, LJ, Will Wesson, Ahmet, Clayton Villa, BDOG and I just have to add ABM, Avenue was a great movie imo

BEST 3 street skiers EVER ???? you're asking ME???? To put it lightly, there are no BEST 3 street skiers; that would mean that the person in the #1 slot could do everything. I think that you got the question all TWISTED OP. Asking the wrong question renders every answer basically MEANINGLESS. Im gonna reword the question. IM gonna give you MY top 3 most INFLUENTIAL street skiers. (STILL subjective, but maybe just maybe it will provide some more gaugeable answers) I'm gonna give you answers from what IVE SEEN. This will range from the years 2007- present.. the years I have followed street skiing. WE definitely will NEED some OLD HEADS in hear to say who been most holding it down since the sport's cultivation in the late 90's. I'm sure they will be able to reference some of the sports TRUE OG's who really showed the people WHATS UP and got the shit swinging like a pendulum.

SO from 2007-PRESENT

IN NO PARTICULAR ORDER

-PARKER WHITE

THIS DUDE CRAZY... the masses may overlook him. .. BUT FOR FACTIES he holds shit down. Mr. WHITE was considering QUADS before Triples had even graced the lime light. CHECK THE VID FOR REFERENCE. for this reason I gotta say PARKER was really holding down as a TOP SKIING INFLUENCER.

NEXT UP

-WILL WESSON

I gotta say.... for the mid 2000's- this dude's TECHNICALITY was off the charts. dude is a machine, a straight BEHEMOTH no doubt. YES ILL SAY IT, this man is lacking in style. BUT, he makes up for it with some straight MIND BENDING rail precision that really got the BALL ROLLING. Will Wesson and his traveling circus compadres brought CREATIVITY and AGILITY to the forefront of skiing and no doubt INSPIRED many of today's STYLE GODS.

So, let me throw a SIDE NOTE at you FUCKS. While you're sitting on your couch drinking Kool AID HATING on people pushing the LIMITS OF OUR SPORT throwing mind bending technical tricks which might SLIGHTLY lack style... LEMME tell you.. SOME CRAZY FUCK WILL THROW THAT SAME TRICK WITH AN UNQUANTIFIABLE AMOUNT OF STYLE MAYBE NO LESS THAN A YEAR LATER AND IT WAS ALL BECAUSSE SOMEONE DID IT WITHOUT STYLE FIRST SO SIT THE FUCK DOWN CHARLIE.

OKAY HERE IS MY FINAL SUBMISSION FOR TOP 3 INFLUENTIAL SKIERS (obviously my list could go on but this is the sad state of this thread. we are only allowed to post 3. im really sorry to everyone I didn't mention.)

-BMAC,,,,

ya I said it. this dude KILLS SHIT. Sure.. He may not be thinking about QUADS like our dude Parker white I mentioned previously. In fact, BMAC may NOT BE THINKING AT ALL. He is in eternal FLOW STATE. He does whatever THE FUCK HE WANTs and is not afraid to invent tricks WILLY NILLY. BMAC might be seen as our sports AANTICHRIST and for good reason. Dude has quite possibly CHANGED THE ENTIRE GAME and I do not say that lightly. MANY WILL HATE on "new wave swerving" ( as you grumpy middle aged whiner baby fucks put it). BUT the fFACt is everyone who is BIG is doing it now and BMAC played an outright HEAVY roll in the NOWAVE's provenance. Thanks to BMAC and his BUNCH counterpart's, skiers all over the world are going out and trying NU SHIT not giving a fuck what happens. BMAC and his bunch buddies EVOLVED skiing from being some FLEX activity for delinquents to being a MINDFUL FLEX activity where one CAN TAP INTO THE ETERNAL CONSCIOUSNESS AND straight ZOOM FOR HOURS whilst pushing the limits of our ever evolving and beautiful sport.

PEACE AND LOVE,

justchillinbob

Okay thanks for coming

Some post participation THOUGHTS. This thread KINDA PROBLEMATIC. why we gotta chill and RATE people we dont know. Just KUZ WERE QUARANTINED? ya I just did it too but cmon guise lmao.

It's just a discussion my guy...

People need to go rewatch this. There's a lot of big lips in urban these days. I'm not saying to build no lip like Frank did, but there's definitely an in between, and it makes spinning onto a rail or hitting it switch that much more legit with a lower lip

the no lip king

Gotta have Cam Riley in there. He literally didn't / doesn't ski anything else. His first day out will be hitting a dub kink in the streets, dude is a mad man
