BEST SPRING SKIING

Yo... Ice Coast Local here looking to take a short trip west between the dates of March 17th- April 1st and need some advice. I will have about 5 days I can spend anywhere (within reason) spring skiing. Looking to ride Cliffs, Trees, and anything wicked natural all morning, jib around for lunch, and hit the park in the afternoon.

IF YOU COULD SKI ANYWHERE IN LATE MARCH IN THE U.S. WHERE WOULD IT BE AND WHY?

Who has the best side-country terrain still open?

The best snow?

The best party scene?

So far this is whats on the list...

Taos

Squaw / Mammoth

Snowbird / Alta

Jackson Hole

Mt. Bachelor

Anything I missed?

why the US? take your cash up here to Canada and come ride whis, it has all that and more, and itll be cheaper for you, thoughtz

Not sure if you have it down as Squaw/Mammoth because you think they are close or not. They are a long way away, like 3.5 hours, so it should be either/or.

Squaw and Mammoth are both fun in the spring. Great steeps and nice weather.

There's a good chance that most of the resorts out west will be more like winter conditions than spring at this point. Everywhere in CA just got dumped on and this week is looking good as well. That being said, most anywhere in Tahoe will be great for conditions, sqauw/alpine, sugar bowl, heavenly, kirkwood etc. Heavenly being in South Lake Tahoe, and Sierra down the road a little ways, will be the best night life unless you want to drive to Reno after riding Squaw/Alpine, or Sugar Bowl. I can't speak much for J-Hole, Alta, or Taos, but Mt. Bachelor is a fun mountain and always has a great late season, but again it will be more like winter, more than likely. And Bend has some of the best breweries in the Western States if not the country, but they don't have much of a club-like scene if that's your thing, but the food and beer is phenomenal. Good luck.

Timberline since their parks are soo good

I can back this up 100% there parks a on fire rn. Been going up every weekend and it's dumping up there rn. There creativeness and size make it some of the best parks in the PNW

At the end of the day you get to camp out around a bonfire with your friends. IMO its 10x better than going to a bar/club afterwards.

U prolly can't go wrong with any where but I'd say West as you can just because its getting so much freakin snow. Tahoe has amazing cover and the pack is guaranteed to be good and the weather will be primo those dates. Whistler has the nightlife right there. JH and Utah are where you go in December but I think you wanna hit Tahoe right now dude its off the chain and it just wants to keep dumping you can tell.

I don't think anything a few hundred miles inland will be better.

Squaw and Mammoth aren't close like someone said but you can drive down to Mammoth after skiing Squaw one day not much problem your just going to have a tough time shredding Mammoth and catching your flight the same day.

I want to hit Mammoth on my current Tahoe trip and IDK if its doable my buddy comes in Thurs niight, I have to be in Reno to bet the college hoops tournament games next Thurs-Sun he flies back next Thurs and I gotta pay the bills yo, and that just leaves Mon, Tues, to ski it because I fly home at 3 on the Weds the 23rd so I def can't ski it that day but I could definitely do Rose that Wednesday before the flight. "MIGHT" not be worth it this trip because it looks like I could only ski it 2 days.
