Best snowboard movie from this year?

Yeah I know this is a ski site blah blah blah. I want to buy my friend a video for Christmas. I've only seem From MDP With Love which was awesome. I was thinking about getting Futureproof because I heard it was bad ass. So what movies have you guys seem and what did you like about them.
 
ok here is abreakdown of waht i've seen and tihnk are viable choices

ONE LOVE:

-perfect for someone who loves rails

-a fair amount of sick BC hits

-all rap soundtrack

-mixtape style

FROSTED FLAKES:

-excellent diverse but super good soundtrack (hip hop, indie, rock, etc.)

-amazing rails

-not many jumps (mostly park jumps)

-my favourite movie of the year

DC MTN LAB:

-all park

-fun movie, tells a story, riding is good for what they use, but its all one park with a few road trips

-comes with a nice book

-good christmas present

-music is diverse

-simon chamberlain

DERELECTICA:

-fun movie

-diverse

-some godo rails, not as good as frosted flakes or one love though

-bc hits

BURNING BRIDGES:

-out there soundtrack (diverse)

-out there editing (weird)

-sick rails

-sick bc hits

-weird

-MFM

SOME KIND OF LIFE:

-diverse soundtrack

-some amazing parts

-rails/bc hits

and i can go on

PARK: frosted flakes or DC Mountain LAB

PIPE: frosted flakes

URBAN: one love or frosted flakes

BC HITS: mdp or derelectica or some kind of life or one love

SOUNDTRACK:

-diverse: frosted flakes, dc mountain lab

-rap: frosted flakes

-weird: burning bridges

Saw those, gotta agree with pretty much everything he said, I also saw Big Blind, which was prolly the worst snowboard movie I saw out of the bunch.

91 words for snow is sick, and from what I've seen from community project, it looks tight.
 
Paradox was awesome. A very well put together flick. Jeremy Jones is fucken sick and the scandnavian talent in Standards flicks is intense. Futureproof is my favorite. DCP and Nicolas Muller japanese pow segment in japan is worth the 40 buck price tag alone. the movie is great and every timethe little space dude pops up onto the screen in the corner, if you press enter on you dvd remote it goes to a secret section. always entertaining. community project was sub par compared to these two flicks. get your buddy either futureproof or paradox + the snowboarder photo annual which contains 91 words for snow. that would be a sick gift.
 
I own DC mountain lab and i find its a waste of 40 some dollars. One love is good. Frosted Flakes is really good and underrated. Burning Bridges isn't as nearly good as Love/Hate.
 
i only saw a snowboard movies once in my life, the store was playing it and i dont know what it is called

i dont think this is really ski gabber
 
you are correct sir. and the silly pipe bit with everybody going to and fro over each other... beside that it pretty boring... and they seemed to use one or two shots from shit that looked like damn expensive setups.
 
BUY HIM FUTURE PROOF, ITS PRETTY MUCH THE DOPEST MOVIE EVER, IT MAKES SKIING LOOK STUPID! ROMAINS AND JP SOLBERGS PART IS INSANE
 
^Yeah that's what I've heard and I think I'm leaning in that direction.

Phrosty didn't you hear I don't tele anymore. I switched last year and I've got to say it was one of the best decisions I've ever made.
 
Future proof has alot of big mountain. nothing wrong with that, it's just that the movie lack some park.
 
community project and DC MTN LAB are easily the most "progressive" films with the Aspen Park segment and Whistler 1/4 pipe in Community and the double road gap and the in-house/out of house rail in DC.

I would go for one of those two.

Even though there was huge hits in it- i thought Absinthe-Futureproof dissapointed a little.
 
one love is the best for urban from_______ with love is dope if u like other mackdawg movies like chulksmack i was a fan of burning bridges and from what ive seen comm project is really dope with some sick editting
 
I've only seen One Love and Burning Bridges this year but they were both SICK. One Love is my favourite movie this year including all of the ski movies.
