I like Ganondorf, Ness, & Wario. Ganondorf cause he's a ballin hard-hitting guy, Ness cause he's ill as fuck, and Wario since he's all around most unfair character in the game. Who are your favorites?

Oh and you can get the fuck out of here with that "original one is better", "melee is SOO much cooler than brawl" bullshit. This is 2014, we play SSBB.

Oh and claiming 64 is the most teenage, trend-fondling move out there, why don't you guy listen to more records on vinyl and go develop your own photos, and talk about how you missed your generation some more.

Zelda is my favorite character to use. I can clean up nicely with her side B attack late game, even though her final smash can be hard to set up with. Who here is stoked for SSB for Wii U and 3DS? Both title's look to be amazing follow up's for the series!
 
64 is NOT better than melee. Melee is NOT better than brawl. Brawl has more characters, more maps, more items, better graphics, and smoother game play than all 3. You guys need to take off your hipster and nostalgia glasses to realize this.

You have got your shit all wrong, more characters/more maps/more items/ better graphics does not automatically mean its better. Melee has the best gameplay out of them all; it is the most intense and fun to play, it also has the most equal characters(skill wise) of all of the games. Brawl has way too big of a variety of how good characters are, which can make it a not fun and unfair game to play.

In all honesty if you play brawl, then there is no reason NOT to get project M(just google it). Project M is better than melee(only by a hair though), and this is because it has the same style of gameplay as melee, has the most characters and maps, and has the best graphics. This is the only time that characters/maps/graphics can make a difference because it is essentially the same game as melee, it just has more. This is not the situation at all with brawl though, brawl has a totally different style of gameplay from melee(and its worse), and that makes it incomparable. Essentially Project M is an upgraded version of melee, whereas brawl is a totally different game.

So get project M(did I mention its FREE?), it'll change your view on SSB forever.

anyone comfortable using the old controllers only? I have a solution for you. I myself am going to be trying the N64 one. just probably going to try and pick one up that's already done(I don't feel the need to destroy one of my good N64 controllers that still work for my N64)
 
I play Ness and I'm best with pika, on 64. I can't afford your bullshit new systems but my friends and I play 64 smash like at least once a day.

except in the stock smash game (not project M) its a shitty save compared to most up b's/other save moves. He can also be hit out of it. His side-b is better, you can use it to dash and dodge and as a longer save move, but his A is his best move. The triple poke-hit is REALLY hard to shield or block for the whole thing, and it does a ton of damage compared to other moves that get you stuck and deal damage (Falcon's fast punches, Game and Watches rapid A.)
 
I usually go with Samus (I've only played old gamecube) I like her attacks and shes also a hot bitch under the armor
 
I'm not gonna get into the 64 v now argument but how can you beat Kirby? That guy can turn into a fucking rock...fucking rock....impenetrable

The thing people dont understand is that 64 smash and the later ones are COMPLETELY DIFFERENT GAMES. 64 was all about play in the air. Gravity was lower, and off edge play was critical. something would happen in every game that was completely original and never seen before.

The later smash games were much less dynamic, and each character was made more even in ability.

Its not just that im better at 64, its just a much better game that results from much better physics. If you disagree with me thats because while i was aying 64 smash you were sucking your mommies disgusting titties

Whats really funny is in the Smash world (which is a thing, I know all this because my roommate is a competitive smash tournament player) is people who play 64 are seen as noob, ultra hipster idiots because SSBM had such better and more fun physics. SSBB has slightly floatier physics, but even that is pretty much considered the second best game.
