Best sliding substance

Ok well i have done some searching, so don't searchbar me. But what is the best way to make a drop in slippery?
I don't feel like using snowgel because it'll be out in the sun. and I have heard good and bad about soap and water. What about just wax on carpet? or is something like the plastic lattice better? hell or even extra hdpe? any input would be great, i'm just looking for a comparison.

Astroturf is pretty cheap and easy to slide. When I looked at menards it was like 49 cents a foot for the cheap kind. So about 30 square feet would be about 15-20 bucks.

astro turf with dishwashing liquid +water works well . or maybe even with washing powder as seen in jon brogans summer edit.

I originally thought to myself "O only 6.90 a tile, thats not bad. Then a priced it out. It would cost me over 170 bucks to do the whole thing so i'm gonna have to say no that, as much as I want to try it.

snow works pretty well too. If you don't have any, go to the nearest hockey rink and take some. If they have a zamboni, they will drop the ice shavings right outside the rink.

this is gonna be a summer jib and the nearest rink is like half an hour away so by the time we got it all set up half of it would be melted.

yeah id say your best bet in indoor/ourdoor carpet or astroturf. the problem i see iwth lattice is you cant hold and edge whatsoever so your sliding all over the place. so a little water on the indoor/outdoor stuff or astroturf adn your set.

Well there really won't be any need to for an edge. The ramp design has a platform at the top for putting your shit on/throwing up a cam/chillen and drinking beer. And assuming the ramp is 6ft high with and 8 ft long will astroturf provide enough speed?

im not completely expierenced on this

but astroturf might be your best bet, but a really fine rug with lots of water and a little soap could help but still not too slipery

those tiles are mad fast though

the diamond orange construction fencing works great. the only problem is that u have to staple it down to the launch ramp and then u run over the staples with the bases of your skis. it is also $43 for 50 ft of it at homedepot
