The new PE's are a half pound heavier than last years due to the new ptex top sheet and added width all the way through from the old PE. Skied the crud much better than last years PE and is much more versatile. Old PE was a blast all mountain, but did not do so well in heavier snow. The new PE had no problems.

Doesn't matter which year, same ski different graphics. The '04/'05 PE was released to the public back in December 2003.
