Best skis for this purpose

OK... I am about to do my last year on the high school race team. I want to get a pair of twin tips that i can use in slalom, because i dont feel like dishing out the cash for 2 pairs. any suggestions as to what i should get? (I'm on the east coast. think ice.)

 
twintips to use in slalom....??? gotamas of course.....wait just kidding.....i'm assuming you're gonna want a ski thats fairly skinny underfoot? maybe v expressions or 720s?

Troublemakers maybe? I don't know just get a long fairly skinny ski that is fast. Im going to use my TMs for Giant Salom this year. Oh wait you meant Slalom? That can't really work out with a 175 so TM in 165 would be the best. Or the 1080, but 170 would be pushin it for Slalom.

I got nothin.
 
slalom needs to be short, stiff and a small turning radius, those three things aren't combined in any twin

noridica maybe? i dont no thats tuff maybe the Line Darksides i saw a kid racing with those, the tail isnt very high though

just buy a pair of second hand race skis and get new twins, wont be spending too much money

Well, you are not really going to find a ski for that. I've got my scratches for park. Race ski, I have rossi world cup 9x. (their slalom ski). Just to give you an idea of the difference, my twins are 168 and my race skis are 140.

 
Right now those are only $100, I paid like $700 all togther with Salomon pocket rocket bindings and that was a discount because I got them from a Swix rep. Maybe it was $600 but I got $100 discount.

Well, the fischers are not necissarily the best. The fischers and rossis are the best for sure. The fischer ski was last year. There will be alot more rossi this year when it comes to racing

 
get some 165 concepts, i have 178 concepts and they rip soo pro on the groomers, and amazing for park too, and they are quite skinny for a twin-tip(i use em for bumps)

i've won several races on my 1080's and that was GS and Slalom so i would stick with those... 4 frnts would be bad cause they are so fat you can't get speed, Eric from COC was having a little trouble getting speed for a jump that most weren't.
