i remember when those came out. Kids were skiing them sooooo short. I had a buddy who was around 6 foot and skiing the 168's i think they were./

Those came out right before the skogans right?

they went from the worlds most fall apart ski maker, to the most indestructible ski, right back to crap. haha, wierd!

their 09 test models for the oakley osama pros. They don't look like much, but don't be fooled by their graphics.

You didn't hear it from me

true that

i had a pair of 1080's back when twin tips were just comin on the scene.

very legit skis back then but sad to say that they just havent kept thier head in the game and now they dont really have much to show for thier twin tip influence on the sport...

I have. They're the perfect entry level twin tip. And they've been good like that for ages.

But yeah, not everyone has owned them, but lots have.

I think your forgetting that salomon was the first company to make a ski specific for pipe with race base and specific flex patterns that boosted candide and cr twice as high as anyone else at the x-games. not to mention they make more skis with a stellar track record then most other companies. the gun, the foil, the spk, the thruster, the dumont, and the rocker to name a few. not to mention 3 different womens specific freeride skis. id have to disagree with you and say salomon is still one of the leading companies in the industry.

orange 1260 (with the dj) the year before that was the most innovative ski ever! its like 7 years old at least and its symmetrical and sidewall with a good flex. ski like that didnt come out again for another 3 years and when it did they were claiming it, yeah og line.

so are you for thinkin that!!!

haha and the comment i quoted...comin from a guy that puts 08 oakley osamas as his skis!!

man your dumb as shit!!!

and you cant spell worth shit either...
