The schools are a lot different from one another though so I guess it really depends what you are looking to get out of your college experience.

Some very highly regarded engineering schools in the west near some mountains.
Go to the best school you can get into...especially if your not paying. You will get a much better job, have a much better network to leverage, and you will thank yourself down the road. Nothing wrong with being a weekend warrior.
