Best skies to buy this season

im thinking of getting a new pair of twin tips for this season and wanted to no what you guys think are the best ones out there for the 05-06 season.. im riding salomon 1080 right now but i don;t think i want the new 1080 i want something different.. right now i have been lookin into 4frnt STL and Armada AR5's..

 
i had AR5's this past season, and i really liked them...i too had the 1080's the year before....from my experience the 1080's rode better out of the park and didnt chip...but in the park AR5s blow away 1080s....id get AR5's instead of the new 1080's....i wanted the stls also...but didnt get em

^ i demoed a pair of non twin tip volkls last year, like some race ski and the front part of the marker binding came completely off when i landed flat on some ice from like a 6ft lip. the guy at the tent said it has happened before with this binding / ski combo, and i'm like wtf you still sell shit????

beats me, i was just cruisin' and hit one of those cat track road things. i was just seeing if i could go any faster on race sticks vs my PEs.

 
i did the exact same thing, 1080s and bought ar5 and thought about stls, and the ar5 blows away the 1080, so much better everywhere, get the ar5 or stl, both good skis, or even fugis or chrons

Invaders are gonna be pretty sick. Especially with the improved Reactors which are going to be more durable. I can't believe its the very first ski that is completely symmetrical. I thought is was a no brainer when I heard of it. Anyways, it butters like crazy. If you ski on PEs or Chrons and want a softer ski that butters way easier pick up the Invaders. They are only $300. And the ski is supposed to perform well on jumps too, it is not just a jib ski.

^WAY too stiff. Those things are pretty much only going to be good in deep pow. I would get JP vs. Julien. It works better all mountain but still is wide as hell.

Dude, how do you people afford new skis every year? I ride the '03-'04 scratch bc, and they are amazing. and im stuck on those for maybe three seasons.

well the reason y im gettin new ones is because mine are way to small now and plus i got 2 good seasons out of them so its time to get new ones that fit.. and ill probably stay with those for 2 or 3 seasons

unless you are a millionair or know people close to 4frnt ... fuck it.. not worth it.. they are going to be rediculously expensive this year.. i would say... park ski... ar5's or invaders.. for bc all mtn... karmas or arv... do it up dude..
