what state do you think is the best ski STATE

i think utah because of park citys tarin park and snowbird and alta because they have the best train + snowbird has a good train park too.

My pick (based on personal preference) would be California, I know it doesn't have the Pow dumps Utah and Wash, get but it seems like a really cool place and its always sunny.

 
Being from Utah I know what its got, but i'v always wondered about Alaska. How long is the season there? Do you really get to ski big mountain stuff or is it just for guys with helicopters.

^^FYI, Colorado gets more sunny days on average each year than California...I found this fact on several websites when I had to give a report once a long time ago.

Therefore, with more sun and way more pow pow, Colorado wins! Utah is a close second though.

I like train parks hahah yeah utah has SSIIICCKCK trains. The trains here will kill any jib monkey in two seconds flat.

dude, for jib ops, you can't even compare with SLC's urban rails, there's a reason why more than half the rails seen in ski movies are in SLC

 
Washington is overrated, we may get a lot of snow, but its concrete heavy. And we have no good mountains hardly.

Cal is not alway's sunny, But there is a huge selection of terrain and shitloads of super secret insane line's, if know your way around the place, RAD park's and the lake is sexy. Oh yeah and i can surf and ski the same day, well if i leave at noon.

washington is not over rated we gets tons of snow (yeah its heavy but we aren't pussies so we rip through it) terrain is top notche look at baker ans stevens 2 super pipes in the state, 2 very nice terrain parks.close to metropolotin area. what more can you ask for. also the closest area in the states to whistler. so I say its Washington straight up!

VT......ok i have to go w/ Utah, it is by far the best state, it gets the most snow, good weather, and has the best mtns.....

Sunny in caparison to what? San Francisco Bay? LA? Tahoe? Death Valley? California is to large of an area and to diverse in climate for your statement to make sense. Any meteorologist could tell you that. It doesn't matter anyway. Colorado still has a more consistent snowfall than Cali.

Oh yeah, my vote is for Colorado.

BC Canada: Apex, Big White, Cypress, Fernie, Grouse, Kicking Horse, Kimberley Alpine, Mount Seymour, Mount Washington, Panorama, Powder Springs, Red, Silver Star, Sun Peaks, Whistler Blackcomb, Whitewater... not to mention all the small hills as well as the countless cat ski and heli skiing operations.

Washington snow sucks, our 'mountains' have NO challenging terrain, and they are all around boring. Plus, like they said above, our snow is wet, and heavy. So take WA off the list.
