What the hell is everyone's pick for the best skiing in Wisconsin?

yeah, it's good, that is actually my fav. as well, but the skiing sucks, just the park is good. Although there isn't any 'good' skiing in wisc. :)

depends on what you are looking for, Tyrol is great for park, they have been dedicated to it for years...there is some good skiing up at whitecap and at indianhead up north..I ski at tyrol cause it is 15 min from my house.

My school is banned from whitecap, we put holes in the walls in the rooms, and filled the jacuzzis up with a full bottle of bubble bath, the entire room was in 5 feet of bubbles.

i would say tyrol is good and a cool place to ski. If you have the time to drive the UP or whitecap or somewhere up north is better. Crystal Ridge is the worst probrably.

crystal ridge and olympia are the worst. tyrol has the best park probably, but you definitely need to go close to the u.p. for anything.

Is Mt. Bohemia any good? I haven't heard much, this is only their 3rd season. It's in the U.P. hope someone can advise me on how it is, thye claim to get 273 inches a year.

ya deffinetly tyrol and cascade, granite peak isn't too bad as far as actual skiing goes. if you can make the drive i would say hit up marquette, sick park and the skiing isn't too bad, plus when you have driven that far, bohemia is only an hour or so away.

last year i went to tyrol but this year i go to cascade...id say cascade is better, but i havent been to tyrol once this season

cascade and tyrol are both good for parks, and the people who run both areas are supportive and progressive in the industry. Hell at tyrol we set up rails with them, or change them ourselves.....

Sunburst wasnt bad early season, but i dont know how it is now.

drive to Marquette. our park is sick right now. 80', 70', 65' step downs, lots of rails and boxes and a smaller park. also, the rest of the terrain here is pretty sick on a good day.

as for Bohemia, you should have been up there this past weekend. they got hammered.

from southern wi marquette=9 hour drive

colorado from southern wi=13 hours

marquette is dope though, and probably the most progressive management in the ski industry.

then go to Colorado. seriously, if you can wake up at 6, leave your house by 7, you'd get there by 8 that night. drive out there, spend 3 or 4 days out there, then drive back. perfect spring break trip.
