Best ski place for winter and mtb for summer?

im traveling next year to california for about 1 year in december and during the stay im having 6 month to travel around, so i wanted to ask if people here knows what is the best place to go ski in the winter and after the season ends to go for some mountainbiking in the same estate, hopefully a place with good downhill tracks, or more related to gravity mtb. with a few recommendations i could straighten my options so any support is totaly welcome

Vancouver. You can ski whistler, bike there but also bike Squamish.

Dude BC Canada in general is dope for skiing and MTB, You got whistler for skiing and MTB along with silver star and coast gravity for MTB its a paradise there

Silverstar is great. Nelson also has a lot of biking trails around the mountains and in the winter you have Whitewater 30min away. But everywhere jn the kootenay valley you should have plenty of both

snowmass has a dope downhill setup in the summer with booters and stuff under their chairlifts

Whistler, or BC in general is fantastic for skiing and mtb, but the cost of living and pretty much everything is generally more expensive. If looking for something cheaper, park City has insane mtb trail networks, both lift accessed and open public trails.
