Best ski photography lense for nikon

hey ns, i got a nikon d200 for ski photography and i was wondering what all you photographers use for lenses, was thinking about the 80-200mm f2.8 for low light urban set ups and and all around lense. but what do you girls/guys think?

can also get a good deal on 55-200vr if that will cut it.

80-200 2.8 is the ticket though, for nikon at least. don't get your hopes up about shooting night with that though, unless you've got flashes.
