Best ski in pipe?

As I posted in my thread about the test my shop conducted this year with numerous different mainstream freestyle skis.

We found that the line 1260 was the best ski in the pipe, the side cut seemed to do almost all of the work of popping you out. It was great for Air to fakies in the pop, and found that it's edges held up great in the pipe with some sparing use of the skis on rails.

I would personally recommend the troublemaker. It has amazing pop and the dimensions are perfect. Just watch belan' ski on em, he's the tranny guru.

If Crichton can do switch 9's i guess they work, but i hear TM's do shitty with rails.

Session 2 at Momentum
 
they arent heavy at all they are sick on every thing it is just that the edges suk and break at the end of the year. get TMs for the pipe.

I also heard that next years line chronics are supposed to be really sick in the pipe

I heard Mad Trix are good for pipe(black and white ones), I have them but havent skiied them in pipe, but still they hold an edge really well, almost like a race ski, so I imagine they'd hold the speed in the flat bottom very well. And look at Jon Olsson. And the bases are really fast and hard, never scratch.

 
if you serious about pipe, you'll have a pair of skis just for it. theres no way I'd destroy my pipe skis on rails.

yeah my MT's are great in the pipe. they're just a little heavy.

the steeze just so you know the 1260 doesnt have a side cut its a cap ski. and yes the 1260 is nice in the pipe.

 
i have the 1260 and they do much better in park, personally they don't feel right in pipe

i have taken them both in the pipe thinking the 1260 would be better because of the carbon ollie band but the tms were just amazing but got destroyed on rails so if it is pipe specific get the tm for shure they also jump amazingly just dont hit the rails .

can you get an s.t.d. from a polar bear?
