heres my say of the best drinks for good old gondola trips and sessions at sunshine. or anywhere with snow for that matter.

1. kokanee gold- great tasting higher alc. percentage beer. nice for just chillin and haven a drink. also if your skiing hungover, nuthing stops the headache better then a cold brewskie, a small joint and fresh mountain air. a great drink for jib sessions since you can drink casually without becomeing to uncoordinated.

2. HOT 100- this stuff burns like a motherfucker. great for seriously cold days when you cant feel your body. this is basically the equvalent of nitrous for humans. at 151 proof and 50% alc. percentage, she gives you a great buzz and its easy to half cut on this stuff fast. good for just being able to stay out their when its real fuckin cold. It has a cinnamon hearts taste and a nice hot pink color.

3. AGWA- this stuff is the shit. made from cocaine plant, its a 35% liquer which has quite an enjoyable taste. the drink is super caffinated. something like 12 times the percentage of caffine per shot then their is in a cup of coffee. excellent source to wear off the edge before ginuea piggin the jump and you can hike for a long time after just a couple of shots.

4. REV energy drink- I don't care if people think this is a bitch drink. It taste great provides alot of energy and if you take 5 of these in a beer bong you'll be good to go all night. (pretty much the same effect as redbull and vodka)

5. Haggardmister aka Yaegermeister.

the german cough syrup which basically just fucks up everyone who drinks this drink in excess. its got a very very unique taste, so you puke on this shit once and you'll never want to be within a foot of it again. anyways good drink to end off the day and get ready for the party when you get down to the lodge.

6. H20- this ain't gonna give you shit all other then hydration which is probably one of the best feelings in the world after you've been hiking for a couple hours.

add more drinks to the list, if you got any special recipes for becoming a superman I wanna hear em.

im canadian we don't get that shit here, or at least not for cheap. REV is almost the same, but yea im sorry

red bull- the #1 energy drink in the world. rumor has it your drinking bull semen, but I have yet to find any proof of this. Mix this drink with vodka and you'll be goin like a windup toy for hours. to much though and you'll put yourself in a coma.

It's not bull semen, although the execs at Red Bull don't mind that the rumor is being spread. It's just more publicity for them.

red bull is stronger in europe. the beer for skiers is definitely sleeman steam. or if ur a ski intructor canadian and dry.

RED BULL ESSENCE is the nuts. only avaliable from thailand, its like red bull concentrate, no bubbles just pure bottled madness!

A mate drank some and his blood was tested (in the UK). he was found to have 22 illegal substances in his blood - its the shit!

Even better nixed with thai whiskey (which contains amphetamines) and a dash of coke. mmmmmmm

red bull is like 4$ where i ski and not really worth that much, but i just chug soda durrin the day, save the beer for later in the day

the concentrated Red Bull is definateley the best, hard to find in the US though (gotta look in the little asian stores).

 
yes most alcohol does make you cole, but seriously hot 100 warms you up for real. plus the other shit listed is all pumped full of caffine, so it makes you really energetic, therefore making it easy for you not to be cold. Drinking while you ski is fun. I don't mean inot excess, but one or two beers or maybe a couple of shots just takes of the edge a bit, lets you just rip.

On the hill, I only ever drink water in my Camelbak. I might carry some juice for lunch sometimes too.

Red Bull can dehydrate you a lot (200% of your RDA of caffine I heard), so if you're drinking a few cans make sure you're taking in water too (Red Bull's site recomends 50/50 mix with water if you're doing sports). And whoever mentioned RB and vodka, the bar the sponsors my college snowsports club are giving us a sweet deal on pitchers of 5 vodka RB - it's going to be a good year for sure!

And drinking while skiing - I'd never do it - I injure myself enough sober! Nopthing better than coming off the hill, taking your boots off and having a beer on the balcony though. I can feel the effects after two beers if I start drinking right after coming off the slopes, because of all the exercise.

 
drinking in high altitude lodges is the best. the higher up you are the less it takes to get drunk.

a beer at the top of the mountain is good just as long as you haven't been on the hill for 7 hours, then things get a little sketchy.

yeah red bull or coffe in the morning, and gatorade in the day when you are all dehydrated, or a code red with no ice, and sobe adrenaline rush is a good substitute for red bull
