Haha two years ago I was skiing with my dad and my brother, and there was a snowboarder dad with his daughter sitting on top of a pretty narrow run. My brother and I were pretty far ahead of my dad and we cruised past them, only to have the dad get up and start screaming and chasing us down the hill. We were both like...wtf is going on and why is this guy yelling at us. Well anyways, we got to the bottom of the run and this guy rides up to us and shoved my brother, yelling at us because he "hit his daughter with his pole on the way by." (This was not even close to the case, as I was right behind my brother when we passed them, and we had a decent amount of space.) Dude just keeps yelling and yelling, saying how he was going to report us to ski patrol and get our passes taken and blah, blah, blah.
...now the epic part of the story.
The guy proceeds to shove my brother again, when my dad skis up (he's 56), sees this, and just full on shoves the guy to the ground, hard. I was speechless. My dad then got in the guy's face, yelling at him and asking what the problem was and why he was treating his sons like this, to which the guy replies..."They were trying to cut corners or something and skied too close to my daughter and I, and I wanted to scare them to teach them a lesson." My dad basically told him he was full of shit, and if he saw him even close to us again he would call the cops. The guy got all shaken up, apologized to all of us, and shuffled off to the lift while we all kind of nervously laughed at the craziness that just happened. I have NEVER seen my dad act like that. He's like the nicest guy ever, but he saw this guy messing with my brother and I and lost it.
