Best ski for me.... (on the market again)

well some stupid fuckass stole my skis last weekend, and this means i have to buy something new, and soon. i had 169 pe's.. last years model and i was looking at getting something a little softer, and a little longer.

this is how i'd break down my riding:

60%% park (35% booters, 20% rails/jibs, 5% pipe)

10% groomers

20% BC (glades, pow booters, etc)

i'm on the east coast right now and am planning on getting out to whistler for a few months in the spring (in effect, boosting my BC percentage a bit). i don't really think i want anything too fat, since i am mostly east coast and park, so i guess i need something that's good all around but primarily park. any recommendations would be great.

yeah, and where would be the best place to mount aswell? i guess slightly back since i'm not 100% jibbing.. so yeah.

if you liked the public enemy thats what sounds good for you, but i would get last year considering they didnt change much
 
What are you talking about? They changed an absurd amount. Softer, wider, new sizes, Ptex topsheet... Please, people, know before you post.
 
^sorry man, but honestly i dont think if you ski last years public enemy vs this year there will be that big of a differnce, but next time i wont say anything
 
Well, there is a big difference. I mean it's a totally different mold. The similarities between last year's and this year's can be summed up in that they're for doing more or less the same things... but they are a much altered ski.
 
if you are looking for something longer the 174 PE would probably be your best bet. those or the 174 foil if you are looking for a little softer ski, although the PE will take more of a beating. both are 85 waist so they'll be a pretty decent pow ski for someone as light as you, but still kick it all over the mountain and in the park too.
 
i d go with the fr71 from highsociety= 171 cm and its the perfect all round ski holds great n any condition when you ski it ull be like whammy plus part of the money goes to the red cross
 
maybe the rossi scratch bc sprayer because it is only like a 92 waiste and handles the park and groomers very well.
 
chronic wides, since they are good in the park. You can also take these out of the park and they will ski well.
 
i would agree except i would go with the 179 its 92 mm at the waste and big skis are the furture it is the most versitile ski on the market
 
Man.... If you wanna try something new (which is a good idea as it can open up new options) try the Liberty SBs. They come in 170 and 180, and are 92.5 under foot. Perfect for all mtn. The flex is on the softer side. They kill it in the park, and will be incredible in the BC.
 
every ski short of the fugative and ANT have been suggested...geez...have fun picking man
 
ummm, get the 175 ARV's, those would be fun.... your pretty much the same height as me, just a little bit lighter, so those would be sick.....
