I'm looking to get out of the midwest and move west. I'm poor and all i want to do is ski. Wheres the best place to move for cheep?

you can find an opium shack and hitch hike up little cottonwood canyon everyday and ski for free after 3 at alta but thats only one lift so nvm, or you can just join a liftie crew somewhere.

Golden, BC.

Kicking Horse Mountain Resort.

The town is tiny and houses are probably dirt cheap.

Incredible skiing too.

What's your idea of cheap? I lived in Salt Lake last year and it was pretty cheap ($100 a month). But I lived in someone's attic. But I hear places in the city aren't too bad. Plus gas rates are relatively cheap and you can always take the bus up to the mountains. And you have 3 good resorts (Alta, Bird, Solitude) that are within 30 minutes driving distance from downtown. I'm biased towards Utah because I grew up there but I would definitely put it on your list.

beaver creek or aspen

Who doesn't like handicapped girls? I mean there is nothing like the feeling of a girl going into a siezure while she is riding you or when she makes those damn sexy groaning and gurggling noises before you even touch her.

Girdwood, AK. We've got hippies living in the forests during the summer, then living in tents and other people's houses in the winter.

If you want good skiing, but you are poor, a good place to come would be Nelson BC or Rossland BC.

truckee for sure. i lived there for a summer and it wasnt that expensive. but it was off ski season but it is near tahoe

for some reason, i believe Atlantaski miiiight be kidding--yes, i know, hard to believe, --a joke considering beaver creek and aspen are maybe the two wealthiest ski places around...beaver creek has sick ass escalators taking you to the mtn..kicks assss

mammoth is sweet because you dont need a car, at all and you can live in employee housing for $10 a night (you get what you pay for). Truckee is sweet, but plan on spending alot on gas as tahoe is the los angeles of ski regions. From truckee to any hill besides SBowl is like 15 miles => 30 miles a day minimum....

yea alta

Pagosa Springs, CO- Wolf Creek Ski area, cheap small town, best powder in CO, easy to get a job on the mountain, non-corporate hippie vibe, overall a well kept secret!

Aspen, obviously.
