Best ski bindings

since your new here. welcome to NS. but when ever you make a thread you should search it in the search bar, its in the upper left hand side of the screen. and this should be in gear talk mods.

anything made by rossignol, look, or dynastar with a din above 12. they are a little more heavy but the weight is not noticed very much when it is underfoot and it is well worth it for the extra durability you get.

As others have mentioned, FKS bindings are great. I ride them myself. However, they do have their downsides.

1.) They are no longer being produced, and are therefore hard to find. Be ready to pay top dollar for them.

2.) Above being said, replacement parts can also be difficult to find or expensive to buy.

3.) Their brakes can be a pain in the ass. You will probably need to bend them to get them to fit the waist of your skis. also, if you need to replace the brakes, you will need to buy a whole new baseplate assembly, which costs $40. Kind of expensive.

If you are willing to deal with the aforementioned cons, FKS bindings will be awesome.

of course, all of what i just said may be irrelevant to you if you only need maybe a junior binding or something lower performance.

this season i put fischer x17 bindings on my addicts, and they just feel great, like smooth click in basically. id highly recommend.
last year i rode look px12 jibs, centermounted on my volkl walls, and theyre great, solid binding, pretty heavyduty.
yea the marker 12.0 free isnt a great choice for a park binding. its basically a cheap plastic marker binding with cool colors, not real durable at all.

I have used Pivot /FKS bindings for 6 years now and I have no reason to switch to a different company if thats any help.
