Best ski area on the new 7 mountain Peak Pass?

Hey dudes! Not sure how many of you were doing the Double Down pass from Mount Snow over the years but this year is the first where they changed it up and offered something different. They now offer 7 mountains instead of the 2 previously.

Mt. Snow is the only mountain in VT on the pass and we all love it for its park so I was curious what you guys thought would be the best overall mountains this pass has to offer. I'll note I have never been to any of these mountains other than Snow so these replies will help me decide where to go this winter, thanks!! The list is:

-Attitash (NH)

-Big Boulder (PA)

-Crotched Mountain (NH)

-Hunter Mountain (NY)

-Jack Frost (PA)

-Mount Snow (VT)

-Wildcat (NH)

to be honest none of those seem like a really good all-around mt. Big Boulder, Crotched, and Jack frost are all pretty small, Wildcat is big with some good trees but pretty much either has no park or one thats stuck in 2001

Attitash is in between wildcat and crotched and I think I've heard it has an ok park, and I've heard similar stuff about hunter with their park supposedly getting better this year

tbh in a good snow year Mt Snow is probably the best all around because they've got Carinthia and the North Face

You said none of them are good all around then only talked about park man...was hoping to hear a little more about other areas. Carinthia is my home so I wouldn't be looking for a place to ski park realistically I would be looking for somewhere with more vertical and challenging trees (what mount snow lacks).

wildcat is the place to go then, It's just a lot of these places have decent park or the trees but not both

Wildcat and attitash have a few decent trails but Attitash's park sucks the jumps are setup awful and the rails are sticky and bent from the groomers smashing into them and the general vibe there is pretty shitty for me.

Wildcat and Mt Snow are bomb. Attitash is good.

Wildcat is a better actual mountain than Snow bigger etc but since it's national forest it's just different and has fewer trails.

Yeah I love Snow but it's my home mountain so it'll definitely be nice to go somewhere different for a change. I'll have to check out Wildcat then thanks dude!

Big boulder has a DOPE park, really reminds me of a smaller Carinthia. Jack frost is right next to Boulder and isn't as good so fuck it. Crotched is small but really fun. Haven't been to Wildcat but hear it's cool. The pass is only 400 I think if you're under 28 or something I would pay that for Big Boulder alone so getting Mt Snow thrown in this year is gonna be so dope

This pass was super cheap even for older people if you bought it before 4/30. What scumbags putting such an early date I found out about it early May when shopping around for whats new on the market. (Thank you Vail for making other resorts group together and offer deals.)

Its a shame I had no clue about it till it was too late particularly because most of my homies who shred can't afford to hit the mountains I do b/c I usually have a pass or something and they don't (I skiied like 15 days at Stowe this year had a homie with me 1-2 not surprising b/c its the most expensive hill in the East.) If they hadn't made that date so damned early I buy and get friends to we can all do Snow/Wildcat/Attitash locations are fine terrains fine.

300 to 500 for the midweek they can suck my ass and fuck off I'll give Stowe my money and none of my 4-5 friends who I could have easily talked into buying it will be interested.

Double whammy punishing people for being 29 and not paying attention to their stupid ass pricing in April of a garbage year out here. Skiing wasn't on my radar I had a dope Tahoe trip in May and wasn't going to drive to get April turns in these conditions wanted to go out with a pow day at Squaw. The 500 dollar pass with weekends and some blackouts went to 800.

Hope someone reads my rant and realizes that instead of selling 5+ passes and having people with money to spend in the lodge and bar hit them up a dozen times a year they will get ZERO passes from us. Couldn't make that date May 30 or June 30? F you with that sneaky 4/30 you get nothing from me automatically going to other spots now.

Get your use out of that pass this year before ASC...I mean, Peak, sells off resorts next season after going belly up.

This is the first year this pass with these mountains is being offered, you really think they're gonna revamp their entire pass line just to ditch it after its first year?

Guess you didn't understand my post. Let me make it easier for you. They will be bankrupt within the next 3-5 years. Maybe sooner.

No need to be a dick buddy I was genuinely asking, considering you said "Get your use out of that pass this year"

Wildcat if there's a lot of snow can be great. There's sidecountry (Thompson brook), and lots of hidden stashes like elevator shaft etc . Plenty of steeps and drops , some small inbounds cliffs . No lodging so it feels raw like a ski area not a resort and they aren't strict there , they let people duck ropes etc .

Any of these places have really great pow (Relative to east coast). I got the drifter pass mostly for Mt Snow but I would like to ski some good trees and pow every once and a while as well
