Eric Clapton a couple of summers ago was amazing. He played a little bit of everything, and had a blues jam with Buddy Guy. It was a great show, except the tickets were very expensive. I have also seen a ton of awesome jazz shows too! My favorites being Oscar Peterson and Sonny Rollins. Got to love the small venues too!

The Tea Party in Rochester this past summer was the best. Front row. Just absolutely amazing. Second place goes to a punk show. Leftover Crack with local band Switch 86 opening. That show was just really cool. One of my favorite punk bands, and so much energy is the small bar. It was just sweet.
meh, i'm bitter. i went to boulder to see those same bands on the best revenge tour (midtown, taking back sunday, and recover) and tbs didn't come. they're my favorite. i did get to see them when they came back to denver about a month ago. i was front row and in front of this bar thing so i didn't get squished. best show i've been to sober.

like two years ago (or last year?) at carleton university there was a two days concert consisting of AFI, Good Riddance, Sick of It AFI, Rise Against, Catch 22, Zero Down, Planet Smashers, Jersey, Ann Beretta and maybe a few more bands, it was the best...
hollidays in the sun, sept 2002. so much energy, the 3 day thing with a million bands was great too, i saw at least one band that i listen to frequently play. and the business was fucking amazing
its kinda a toss-up for me bewteen the P E A R L JAM benifit show in seattle in 2000 because it was so amazing to be in the key arean with a sold out crowd singing along to daughter. and then GUSTER at the showbox just cuz it was so small and amazing
the magazine is called 'POWDER' cool! - my stupid non-skiing friend
ye seeing hte murphys in boston is one goal of mine, oh eya that crleton concert was two years ago i remmeber now, maybe over two years ago now,a tleast two years though
CKY in rochester, first row... sooo sick... bullfrog at snowjam was great, i was lost in there tunes, then got to meet em, dropkick murphy's and pennywise at the 2001 warped tour were both sick
hahaha i turned not by choice down for the soundtrack of the bentfilms video not last season, but the season before that... and now look at em... funny thing is? i dont care! hahaha
endfest 11... because of more then the music i kinda found something deeper while listening to daspboard confessional - hands down, i was only 8 rows back with the girl i love
theres a natural mystic flowing through the air if you listen carefully now you will hear. its the first trumpet calling. might as well be the last. many more will have to suffer many more will have to die dont ask me why. things are not the way they used to be.

that is definitely the gayest thing i've ever heard
Props to Ian for stating the obvious. And who goes to shows were you sit in a row, screw that I want to be able to climb on stage and any concert you pay more than 15 bucks to go to sucks unless it has more bands than dollars it costs or is for a good cause. And no some rich white dudes wallet doesnt count as a good cause unless its mine. Who ever said Bane in kingsfield maine is the best show they went too...bane puts on an amazing show but I dont think any show in Maine will ever qualify as the best ever.
Hands down my best show has to either be the First Back to School Jam at the rat in boston, Dropkick Murphys at the Rat (when mike was still singing, before they started to suck) or the Slapshot show in Plymouth mass...all these are years ago. Great shows are rare today...
A brave man will not live forever but a coward will never live.
hey, i live a sheltered life but the bane show was intense... picture 100+ people in an area as big as a decent sized living room. everyone was up and moving around and singing along. plus outbreak and never say die played...
holy shit umphreys mgee on sat. blew me away. It also helped taht I was rolling, tripping, stoned off my ass, and used a bunch of DiPT before the concert and smoked a fatty blunt while we were there. Best time of my life though tons of people i knew there and there are mad amounts of shrooms and everyone was tripping. It was at the Rave II which has a tiny ass staage but i was like standing right next to the band we were so close and the sound and lights were sweet. They played another brick in the wall and thats all i really remember haha. I like concerts outside a lot more though, and in summer.
Rastafarians believed Ronald Reagan was the Anti-Christ
They had Goo Goo Dolls, Default, Nickleback, Lifehouse, Tea Party, Billy Idol, Garbage, Midnight Oil, and a whole bunch more. Also there was the Globe highest air challenge in this massive half pipe.
the best I've been to was collective soul two summers ago at the stampede, no wait, it was when I saw moist. front row center. fricken amazing. weird al puts on a pretty good show too. some band I saw in a smal pub kicked ass too. still don't know who they were, bu they were good, and were going to open for bb king later that week.
went to see goldfinger and autopilot off open for sum 41 and sum played an amazing set, if you don't like their music go to a show cause you'll actually gain respect for them. misfits 25th anniversary tour was by far the best show ever and the Smalls farewell tour
