Best resort powder ski that can also tour

Im looking to find a good lightweight ski between 106-116mm wide that can rip west coast resort conditions while also touring. I was looking at the moment deathwish 112 and might cop. What are ur thoughts?

A resort pow ski generally isn't the best to tour with cuz you may want something a little beefy to blow thru chop, that said the 4frnt inthayne is a badass ski that holds it's own everywhere and I'd highly recommend it for what you're looking for

Moment Deathwish 112 is a great option, it is decently light, bombproof, and versatile. Something similar that's a bit easier on the wallet could be the k2 Reckoner 112 too.

Generally I'd advise you from going with something lighter than those as it will feel nice on the up, but suffer a lot in typical west coast resort conditions. I went for a superlight touring ski to add to the quiver two seasons ago and its nice for big vert days but I may sell it because I can't ski as aggressively on the descents, and that's where all the fun is.

Was looking at the reckoners…buddy just copped them n they r so nice. Deathwish is lighter tho. Also need an out west ski since I’ll prob mainly ski resorts with these..but 20 percent ish touring

From what I've read, seems like the Deathwish is a great ski for this. I demo'd them a while back and loved them inbounds but never got to tour on them. Look up some of [tag=195966]@cydwhit[/tag] 's reviews on various Moment and ON3P touring skis (on both NS and Blister), he talks a lot about the split between touring and resort and what skis do both well.

Maybe a whitewalker would do this well too? I've never skied them though.

My buddy has Deathwishes and CAST. They rip inbounds and tour pretty well too. It's a little heavier on the uphill but I guarantee he's having the most fun on his descents

Hell yea I just bought pivots too and getting the cast upgrade as well (so that exact setup)

Pivots (gonna do the cast thing )

Nice I think that's probably one of the best choices for a 50/50 ski. I just got a Duke PT 16 for a similar setup (although I will be doing mostly BC on these skis, less resort) and I'm definitely curious to see how they hold up durability wise. For mostly resort CAST might be better, just seems like less stuff to break in downhill mode.

Thanks!

Deathwish would be great. Whitewalker also would be good, ON3P Jeffrey 118 in a 50/50 core or a tour core would be awesome. Bent 110 review drops Sunday, it's not quite as good in pow as those other options, but it would mostly fit the bill as well.
