Best region in the world for skiing

What do u think the overall best region in the world is for skiing is when it comes to snow, terrain, and vertical?

Places like

Us northern Rockies (northern Utah,CO,WY, Idaho Montana

Sierra Nevadas

Cascades

Canadian Rockies

Alaska

Scandinavia

Japan

The alps

Chile/Argentina

clearly, the midwest!

c'mon, we have Goepper, Tammy Walnuts, Hornbeck, etc all with roots in the good ole steak and potatoes midwest

You can do this in Oregon. Mt. Hood. The skiing will be better. the surfing will be colder.

Otherwise, for me so far, it's a tie between the Alps and interior BC.

I'd say the Alps for sure. A lot of variety, big vertical and huge ski areas. As well as tiny little unknown ski hills. Towns and villages that have been there for hundreds of years. And of course, REAL SNOW AND REAL MOUNTAINS.

BC and the Alps probably, but again, depends a lot on the conditions and years. The Chilean Andes are also pretty crazy

I'm gonna go a little more specific and name a mountain, but I've forgotten the name of the mountain itself. It's in France. On one side is L2A, with an awesome park which is open in the summer and decent in-bounds terrain. However the other side of the mountain is why it wins. There you will find the mythical ski area known as La Grave. La Grave has one lift, but it takes you up almost 7000 feet. From the top, there is no groomed terrain. How do you want to get down? Your choice. For me, that is the best region in the world.

Gonna have to disagree here. I've skied a lot in the alps and for sure they are super sick, but I think there are too many downsides to be named the best ski region in the world. The snow can be super unpredictable and it gets pretty warm meaning the snow often goes to shit. Even on a good snow year, the Alps can't compete with places like BC. Whats more is the crowds. Pretty much everywhere I've been in Europe has crazy lift lines. I went to Revy on a weekend and it was waaay quieter than anywhere I've been in the Alps on a weekday. All this said, I love the Alps but I'm gonna say somewhere in Interior BC is my ideal place for the best skiing.

and add AK into that equation and I think we got a pretty good list...

a couple months in BC, then to the Alps, then spring skiing in AK, then head for your summer to the Andes.

I misspoke, Breck and Key are the best places, that's why all the pros go there. Little known fact about summit county is that it has the highest population of super hot chicks in the united states, the county that contains Arizona state college comes in as a far reaching 2nd.
