best pro form ski?

my friend is probably going to buy some twins pro form this year...what are skis can and cant you pro form?

Judging by the way you asked/stated the question.... you obviously have no idea what a pro form is. A 'proform' is something us people within the skiing industry can get from individual companies to buy stuff at discount, 'pro' prices. Example Line skis have there own pro-form, being a damn small company that makes a mediocre product, its hella easy to get their form. Example two, Arc'teryx a hardcore clothing company that caters to the worlds finest athletes, you need to be at least PSIA-2 or higher to get your hands on this coveted pro-form. Burton snowboards, possibly one of the most difficult to get your hands on, they usually only give out like 10-20 per region (aka NE, MW, RM, PNW etc.) Its not a matter of what you can/cant get, but rather, what company you can/cant get. Oh yeah, who needs pro-form when there is shop form....Helllooo V-Pros for $300

 
I have to slightly disaggree. Getting the forms is easy if you know the reps (or your local area you work at has the reps), the thing that sucks is when your area does not have the reps for the companyies you want. Granted Shop form is better than pro-form, but don't forget that your local ski shop can be your best friend when looking for a good deal - especially in the off-season and very early season.

 
yeah, clearly I know nothing of what I speak... but yeah, I dont know how pro form stuff works. he just does adaptive stuff and said he wanted to buy some twin this year... so I asked. Thanks for your help tho

tell him to get in touch with the reps at his area. Most of the time Reps will try to work something out. If he doesn't know who are the reps and who they rep, then ask the Ski School Director(s), they will most likely know, but beware that many pro-form deals are not for part-timers (even though most reps can bypass that constraint).

Most good shops also know the reps, so keep that in mind, they may be able to point you in the right direction, as well as possibly help you out.

300 for v-pros is really not a great price... i got my v pros at 325 and i don't have shop form, pro form, or anything of that sort... thats my 2 cents

 
nutenstein ur a fuckin tart. burton is the easiest company to get proform from, they give it out to everyone and their moms.

as a kid i used to like to like riding in the car with my head out the window. i would do it all the time. until one day a car was coming. my head hit a dogs head, and my head knocked the dogs head off. now i dont lean out the window anymore.
 
smuggs you dont know shit man, they have changed their policy for 2003-04, duuude. $325 for V-Pros? where you gettin that deal??

actually smuggs is right... i already got and used a 04 burton shopform for my friend, he bought a brand new custom..., and last year i bought some clothes, all i did is call the nw rep, sorry bud i think that your makeing them seem more special than they really are,, shit i give rossi proforms to all my friends..(and yes that is ok... im not gonna get fired),

proforms are over rated, its all about free stuff

 
I get proform stuff from Burton in my area but I don't snowboard so its not that helpful, right now I have a sweet Burton Snowboard sittin in my basement. I would sell it but the rep would get kinda pissed.

IM out like a blind kid in laser tag--- --- I'm out like a midget in a high jump competition
