I think that the best spot is Tignes, because you can practice the freestyle and the freeriding in the Grand Mot al the year. This sumer i will want to go.

valdi`sere/tignes works fine but when i where there it hadent snowed for 3 weeks so that shit sucked

loads of nice spots; l'alpe d'huez, les 2alpes, Serre-chevalier, Tignes, les Arcs, Valthorens, Chamonix...the list is endlesss.

the powder probably is not as good as near the US west coast, if you stay a while however, you'll get what you're looking for.

Every Pro skier alive has hit Chamonix. The next best thing to Alaska. and about 90% cheaper. a day lift ticket is like $30.

Areches-beaufort,les 2 alpes,val thorens,tignes,val d'isere,la cluzas,valloire,chamonix(les grands montets),les 7 laux...there are some good stations in france.

(sorry for my english I m French)

Avoriaz is also really nice, there's 2 parks and the city is dope, its car free so you can ski in the town, pretty sick otherwise la clusaz is dope aswell. Also just across the border from france,in switzerland, Verbier is one of the best freeride places in Europe, went there last year and was super stoked about the backcountry
