Best places to ski ?

Hello,

I will probably go to california in the nexts months. What are the best places to ski ?

I will probably go to san francisco but i can go far from there if it worth it.

Squaw Valley/Alpine Meadows, and Kirkwood have the gnarliest terrain.

Boreal and Northstar have the best terrain parks.

Homewood is the most underrated.

Lots of options.

Big Bear is in LA, and doesn't get as much snow as Tahoe. Boreal poo's on Big Bear/Snow Summit parks (no offense to them at all)

Mammoth is legit, but it's 6 hours from either LA or SF.
 
Thanks ! well thats a good thing for me that those are closer to SF !

I will give you news of where and when I got ( if i can find someone to ride with would be nice !)
 
squaw/alpine are definitely bucketlist, but i prefer kirkwood/heavenly

me and a couple of friends are from sf/the bay area and go up every weekend - shoot me a message if you're looking to ride!

Dont know when i will come, march would probably be a good time for me ... But I might go to whistler to so will see ! I will send you a message for sure :)

But for reals everywhere in Tahoe is great compared to last year. I've been mostly at northstar because their park is on another level this season. So many runs open and filled with features its nuts. From super beginner to some pretty crazy rails and like a 60 footer as of today. It's been a bit icy lately on groomers but it just depends on which part of the mountain you ski
 
Do you guys know how I can get some ski tickets shipper ?

I think I might go to kirkwood (is there a nice park too ?).

Probably a the end of march.

naw kirkwood doesn't have that great of a park. Terrain is all time there tho.
 
Plane tickets are bought :)

I will be there the last week end of march.

I'm now looking for shipper tickets for hevenly and northstar, if you guys can help .....

I went to heavenly and northstar this week :) heavenly was awsome skiing and northstar was a lot of fun in the park ! Thanks guys for all your tips !
