Best Places to Live 2011 - Where does your town rank?

You live in a neighborhood full of upper middle class people.

I live in a college town with 50,000 people between the ages of 18 and 24.

I could care less what the average income is in your town, I'm pretty sure I wouldn't want to live there.

I win, you lose.
 
my town isn't on the list but my dad went to Brown University with the editor of Money Magazine (the editor of this column on CNN since CNN uses their articles on their website) and is best friends with the guy. Oh and the town next to mine got rated by Fortune the best place to raise a family in the us (Falmouth, ME)
 
how can they rank towns if theyre including such small population - did they honestly review every town with as low as 8,000 people? that is hard to believe
 
I live in London, Canada.

so i'm probably in the bottom third of canadian cities, but i feel like I could be top 10 on that list.
 
Fuckvyou mobile but I was gonna say 15 is so wrong sammamish is not a very sick place to live at all. So many better places in Washington.
 
yeah, i've lived in many different places around washington and the west side is highly, highly over-rated. people live there because they have to, not because they want to. why do you think they all retire to Chelan or Wenatchee?
 
Word I love chelan it's such a chill place in the summer bu kinda boring in the winter. I live in Maple Valley and it's alright but I would much rather live somewhere else
 
mines not ranked cuz its too small, but the average income and average home price range is higher than the #1. It has been ranked as the nicest place to live before
 
I live in Collingwood, Ontario.

Approximately 7 ski hills all within 20 mins drive, largest fresh water lake in the world, largest fresh water beach in the world, CASG, and so many rivers and expansive forrests its all too easy to get lost on hikes :D

The only con to Collingwood is that we have a major OPP branch in our town :(

 
Hahaha. Who the fuck wants to pay the ridiculous taxes in this state? I love CA and think it's the best state in the nation by far but I can't see myself living here because of the outrageous taxes. If this was all based on quality of life and nicest places to live, California would be the most mentioned state on that list.

My hometown of Fresno will never end up in the top 100 of any good list. We have some of the worst air quality in the nation, it's hot in the summer, and the job market is absolute shit; in fact, we have the highest unemployment rate in the nation, but that's due to the agriculture industry.
 
My hometown is #31 but I go to school in Fort Collins, CO which i know has made that list or one similar in recent years, guess not this year
 
I grew up in an unincorporated area outside of Eldersburg, MD (67).

Baltimore is not on the list, go figure.
