Best places to go in CO for Spring Break

Me and some buddies trying to plan a trip out west. None of us have been out west alot so was wondering if anyone had any input as to where a good time would be in the mountains. Looking for some good nightlife. Willing to spend a bit but not an outrageous amount.

True, What's the dates on spring break. Is that late march? Sorry I'm getting old now. If it's later in the spring comps are a lot easier to come buy.

If you want to ski a bunch you don't want to spend a stupid amount on lift tickets. Peak season VR tickets are like 220 these days. Obviously easier to find comps in spring, but throwing that out as reference. Depending on dates and how many days you want to ski could be cheaper to buy a pass, especially if any hills near you are on it.

Also a pink name posted a thread with a college pass deal for ikon.

In the late spring you can hit craiglist and facebook etc for comps. Earlier spring can be tough. Skiing in CO can be expensive. Some mtns are cheaper. The lift tickets could easily run you more than the flights though.
 
Also you didn't specify travel but if you fly, DIA is still quite a ways from the mountains. Would be helpful to rent a car if you can. Especially if trying to hit multiple mountains and save a buck. There are busses and things like CME but everything costs money. If you're close enough you can drive to CO that could keep the prices down and allow you to get to more spots.
 
Loveland ski area is the ticket my dude. they have flat wind blown stuff, wind blown steeps and even a couple wind blown trees. and when you're done for the day just head down to beautiful and historic Georgetown and grab a drink at mothers saloon to soothe your windburn.
 
If I were in your shoes, I would do this:

1. Fly to Denver.

2. Use any shuttle option to transfer from airport to Frisco.

3. Everyone pitches in $50 for groceries and booze and stay in a condo in downtown Frisco, close enough to walk to main street.

4. Pregame at your condo and stumble over to Ten Mile Station. Awesome place to dance.

5. Take the free Summit Stage bus to ski Breckenridge.

6. Party one night in Downtown Breckenridge. Maybe the pool hall or something.

If you go breck the pizza place on main street has some heady deals and good vibes. Not a party spot but a good spot to get some food and slug a few beers. Also breck skatepark is fun of tou like transition.
 
Whatever you do, just make sure ya stop by Slope Style, brother!

But personally, I'd just get a 4 or 5 pack to A Basin and ski there. Best ski vibe out of any of the summit county mountains, especially in the spring. Loveland is cool, too, but as fun as the wind blown smooth snow and wind lips are a plenty, the terrain is much better at the basin. I always have tons of 50% off tickets to Vail owned mountains so let me know if you're wanting to ski Breck or something.

This is 100% the move. I’d say definitely ball out for a day and go to Breck, Copper, Vail, etc.
 
idk if you got the guwap but Steamboat was super fun, I did a trip there with some of my skate/snowboard homies and it was legit, granted we didn't do much at night aside from make dinner, smoke weed and hangout at the air bnb but I loved the town and the skiing was really fun (super mellow for a resort tbh), plus I heard they have an indoor skatepark which sounds sooo nice. Next time we go back definitely gonna bring the board so I can ski all day and then skate all night.
 
yeah steamboat could be the vibe. summit is kinda washed up. aspen is blown out richness. but honestly you go to any of those places and you're going to have a good time, it's what you make it.
 
I’d say Breck nightlife and accessibility is probably your best bet. But, JHMR or SLC (way more accessible) are worth considering
