i was planning a trip and i want to go to a place with tons of snow. i would preferably like to go to some place in canada but if i have to go to the states then thats okay to.

thanks

Best place i've ridden powder is Jackson Hole Wyoming. Got in there when it was dumping like 3-5 feet and had one of the best times i've ever had.

Gotta make sure that they get plenty of snow though or it kinda sucks i heard. Kinda icy steeps is almost no fun.

Southern Colorado is getting hammered this winterWolf Creek, and Silverton are sick

dude ive been to antarctica.. it was the shit.. saw gwar and i know about the pow pow. and the goddam penguins

This is a solid list with good hills. Roger's Pass has got a ton of good terrain if you want to work for it, and Revelstoke and Fernie have just a ton of easier accessed awesome stuff to hit. If you want a more mellow vibe and don't mind northern living, come check out Powder King, it gets super dumps all the time, has so much good terrain and has one of the nicest grooves of any place I have been.

One of my favorite day I've ever had skiing is when it was pouring. Granted, teh conditions were pretty shitty, but I was having a great time lol.

the searchbar is the best powder spot

just kidding

anyway, in the east go to stowe or jay, in the west from what i've heard alta, snowbird and jackson are the best, but i've never skied out there

I'm in Fernie for this winter and it is super sick when it snows but January has been super dry so its been pretty limited. But when it does snow as long as you dont mind a bit of hiking or traversing then you can get some sweet lines plus Fish Bowl just outside the ski boundary is real sick!On a side note though its operated by RCR who are real douchebags!!

hahahahahaahahahahahahaahahahahaahahahahahaahahahaahahahaahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha gaper to powder or what???

abasin, alta/snowbird, mary jane, crested butte(sometimes)

this last spring break i had i went to alta and they got over 100 inches of snow in 10 days.. and i was there. best powder ive ever skied in my life haha. waist deep lines for like 3 days in a row

best places i have skied powder are at solitude utah and jackson hole wyoming, however i haven't exactly got to travel continent for pow.

Yeah that was the storm of the century, total anomaly for Alta. On top of that it was so heavy it might as well have been wet cement.

ur making it sound like you were there. and no it wasnt heavy powder, even if it was ur still skiing waste deep powder. you cant always get what you want so just have fun with what you have.

go go gadget sarcasm meter!

my only problem with Alta is some people there are fucking insane about first tracks. CHILL OUT.

i was on the lift with a weather guy today and he said "were in an El Nino cycle (yeah whats up), so all of the storms are being pushed north and south of us (i live in oregon) so the best storms are going to Canada and Cali/Utah area"

i was in whistler in december and i jizzed in my pants at all the snow
