Best places around vancouver?

Hey NS, so I am are planning a trip out to vancouver in mid janurary, I have never been there before and was wondering where the best places to ski are under or near 1.5 hours from the city. I know whistler is around 2 hours and thats probably worth the trip for a day or two but pretty long to drive every day.

Grouse, Seymour, and Cypress are the three main local mountains we have. All within an hour of Vancouver depending on where you are and traffic. If you're looking for park Seymour wins for sure. Runswise I think Cypress definitely is the biggest and has the most variety. I think Grouse just sits in the middle.

Grouse's park is on par with Seymours, this year especially.

ha yes you are. K+ to everyone. Does one place get more snow than the other or all they all pretty similar

I don't know why you would consider going anywhere other than Whistler, except maybe Baker which is more like 2.5 hours.

I live downtown and Whistler is 1h20m-1h30m max to get to in the morning (without driving like a moron, if you speed a lot you can make it faster). It is without argument one of the best resorts in the world (if not the best) in terms of snowfall and terrain.

They're all pretty similar, the mountains are really close to each other
