Best place to ski this mid-april?

Have a chance to go skiing from the 20th - 28th of April this year and I've never skied out west or in Europe that late. Looking at Snowbird/Alta for US mountains and Switzerland or Austria if the flights come down a bit. Anyone know what spot will have better conditions mid-april?

Unless you are really into wanting to do a Europe trip I would head to Snowbird. Slush laps on Mineral Basin are a lot of fun.

Got a ski in ski out at Val Thorens on airbnb for way less than it would have cost me to fly from Massachusetts to Mammoth. Depends on the deals you find for airfare and lodging, but it was pretty dope skiing. Also keep in mind that if you're in control and a competent skier, there is a way lower chance of getting your pass pulled for skiing fast or whatever yellow jackets tackle you for in europe than in the states.

Ngl I missed the U.S. when I was in europe. skiing was fun but its a completely different setup and its hard to understand anyone

Sunshine Village and Lake Louise.

Sunshine is pretty good + have an awesome park setup.

But don't go to Lake Louise... as of last week, they have really bad coverage and it's been so warm that their park is pretty mushy since it's at the bottom of the mountain...
