Which resorts are going to have the most open or have better terrain come jan. 6 I am going to utah for a week on jan. 6 and just wanted to know if we should hit up some resorts over others.
 
what kind of terrain? PC is all up in the park scene. Alta is all about the big mountain/ pow scene. Snowbird is a little here and there, but has excellent all around. I say snowbird is the best place for all round skiing. it has lots of terrain and long runs. dunno much aobut brighton/solitude
 
go to Powder Mountain or Brian Head. They're little known resorts that carry punch. Absolutely fantastic. Definitely don't waste your time at Snowbird or Alta. Those resorts are shit.

brian head has good snow because of elevation.... but the entire mountain is shorter top to bottom then the gad-zoom lift.
