Best place to buy old garbage skis

So I have a project in mind and need old cheap skis (pairs like $10-20). Dont have to be rideable do have to be cheap.

I looked on eBay with not much luck (shipping, or "hurr dur old must be vintage must be $$$)

really anything for a shot ski will work. Craigslist works sometimes, don't know if theres a play it again anywhere near (prob expensive as fuck)

any ideas?

One of my coworkers makes ski benches and sells them and he gets most of his pairs of skis for those projects for under $10 at garage sales.

I would stop by your local ski shop and check if they have any old skis with bad bindings on them that they will give away, I know at our shop we always save them for ideas like this
