Need gold investment advice? Ask 16 year olds on NS.

Have some extra money laying around was thinking about picking up one or two 1 oz gold coins. The commissions at my bank are ridiculous. Need to find something in Canada, willing to go online if its reputable..... Word dogs.

hahaha ya i should just pan the shit in a river and see what i find.

No particular reason. Long term investment. Too much disposable income and working full time at home I think is the main cause of this terrible decision.

Look into purchasing a krugerrand, or several krugerrands. Make certain you get a full ounce one, not a half ounce or one-tenth ounce. They are pure gold, and hold their value well. They are also on my bucket list of things to own. Solid investment for sure!

Deffinatly a good idea if you want the ability to cash out or trade in smaller denominations good to mix well known coins like these maple leaves and some silver ones and bullion of both as well. I like silver a lot probably because I'm not wealthy enough to buy ounces of gold and silver sometimes rockets faster in the last boom I made something like 400$ profit off of a small amount of liberty dollar coins.

when i need the goods i always hit up my boy Stinky Pete, he's the prospector. break yo'self fool

I would advise buying some silver as well. I think silver is going to rise more in value than gold in the near future.

Buy weaponized uranium, I hear some countries will pay a fair bit for it. be prepared to get a lot of cash for it though

So you are a Gold investing 16 year year old who also skis, are you experienced in investments and what not?

Do you want it to make money or just to have? The problem with buying gold now is its already at like $1500 an ozt which is really really high, goal of investing is to buy low and sell high so buying gold right now isn't that smart in my opinion, but if you want it just to have then go for it hold is baller as fuck. At my jeweler they have a couple gold bars that are worth like 25 grand I'm sure you can find a smaller bar somewhere. eBay maybe? Just make sure theres paperwork with it so you don't get screwed

I would stress buying gold from someone like Apmex or a certified jeweler so many bars and coins with tungsten cores going around. And I agree with you the only reason to buy rigt now is to have. No the highest but really expensive
