Best place to bum?

Next winter I want to move out somewhere live in a shit apartment, have some minimum wage night job, and ski a lot. I am interested in big mountain mosty, and I don't want to go to Whistler or Utah. Wheres a good place to go. Squaw valley or Jackson Hole seem good, but are jobs hard to get there and how expensive is the rent? Any help or recommendations would be great. :)
 
over by big sky montana you can def be a bum. my cousin went out there for college and bummed it out 3 years after college and made decent money...i could ask her more about it if you want...pm me if you do
 
If you want to live for cheap and ski some dirty lines all winter go to Golden B. C. Get a job at the Kicking Horse and score a free pass.

I worked in the Lake Louise Park for a couple years and Lake Louise hooked us up with a 12 resort superpass not to mention rent was like 100 a month in staff accom. Buuut its in a National Park and you can't get away with shit.

Kicking Horse was one of the free resorts..place is durty! Get off the gondola and pick what cliff youre going to jump off! The locals are kinda weird though..

 
how tough is it to work in canada for a few months if you have american citizenship...work visa etc. anyone know from experiance, i could just as easaly look on line
 
Squaw is awesome and lots of people I know bum and work/ski a lot there but Tahoe isn't the cheapest to bum at. I know someone who bummed at Jackson Hole last year-epic skiing and fun town, but also don't know how expensive it is (I imagine cheaper then Ca though!)
 
I'm looking at doing the same thing. I'm driving from West Virginia with my friend corey lilly to tahoe first week in oct. I was looking at rent today. always looking for more people to go in on rent so its cheaper livin
