Where do you consider to be the best pipe on the east coast? I know you probly havent been to all of em, but the best you have riden. Oh ya, and why?

Mount Snow's pipe fucking sucks ass. the walls are way too big for the angle of the slope, and the walls arn't even vert... Blue Mountains pickle pipe is better than that ditch.

I heard Sunday River's pipe is epic.

If Strapon keeps their US Open pipe up for the rest of the season like they did last year they will DEFINATELY have the best pipe out of anyone. I watched the open today and the pipe was wicked mint!

Sunbday River had without a doubt the biggest and badest pipe in the East... 22 foot walls 400 feet long and a sick transition... if you want a real mans pipe check it out....

 
Yeah Sunday River has a killer pipe. when I was there it early in teh season I don't think it was 22ft. but it was over 15 feet by alot...

The only real drug problem is scoring real good drugs.
 
mt snow's is good. it would be a lot better in a different spot tho. because on sunny days, the sun is only on one wall. so then you have one slushy wall and one icy wall which is weird as hell.

WATERVILLE VALLEY... no doubt the best I've ridden, but that doesn't include okemo. but watervilles pipe is quite nasty.

Strattons is always sick as hell, i rode Okemos and i though it was pretty sweet too.

waterville is a great mountain. i remember they had their rails up at the way begining of the season when you still had to take the quad up to ski anything. is mountain creek the new vernon valley?

Waterville's pipe absolutely SUCKED when I was there at the end of January, and that was after it was cut. I couldn't put an edge into the middle of the pipe (let alone the walls) because it was so icy.

Okemo's pipe is amazing and Mount Snow's is usually decent as well.

Tremblant's pipe is pretty amazing too...They truly know how to work their pipe dragon. The walls were like a cushion for 2 days after it was cut.

tremblant's pipe soft? what? I have never, ever been to Tremblant when their pipe (the right wall at least) wasn't ice.

Tremblants pipe is usually exquisite at this time of year. It is essentially perfectly cut and on the perfect slope. The right wall needs a little heat but it softens eventually. It'll be absolutely perfectly cut this upcoming week for the Canadian Snowboard Championships, unfortunately, probably closed to skiers. DAMN!

i've been in CO for the last 7 months, but I've heard good things about sugarloaf's and Sunday River's pipe scenes (a huge improvement over last year for sunday river). Take the time to check out the loaf and find out what I'm talking about...

er...Vail has by far the best pipe I've skied this year (in Colorado). Breck's is okay...but something about it just doesn't float my boat. Copper's pipe is okay, but they don't take care of it, and Keystone......well I have no idea.

I like Okemo's because it has a pull next to it so ya dun have to hike and if thats crowded u can take a chairlift that is never crowded and ski a lill ways down and hit the pipe

 
i havent skied any good half pipes this year really except park city utah.. and mt snow's does kinda suck but people still pull crazy shit out of it.. i skied windam ny last year and that was absolutly perfect, but i dont know how it is this year.

hey bjcskier you either suck or are really picky. nah man i mkidding but no mountain had a nice pipe until mid february anywyays, hit up waterville now its ill.

 
umm....sunapee...hahaha....no seriously, okemos pipe was ill, I thought Strattons pipe was horrible, at least the 1 on the main mountain, but i was there b4 the us open

MAN, I KNOW SMUGGELERS NOTCH'S PIPE IS NOT LONG, BUT IT'S GOT THE BIGGEST WALLS IVE EVER RIDDEN, THE FIRST HIT IS THE SWEETEST THING YOU COULD EVER HIT, I CREAMED MYSELF WHRN I HIT IT

 
The loafs pipe was furshluggen huge(they wanted it bigger than the rivers) then it rained and got smaller, but its still huge, but like the dude above me said its not steep enough

 
actaully sunappes pipe wasnt bad this past weeknend or loons. all that shit i said about loon i take back they finnally put it together. sick hits in the park a burly ass kink rail 10 feet flat 15 foot down kink and a pretty nice pipe. plus this guy on a snowmobile was towing us to the top of the pipe and then waited for us at the bottom it was pretty sweet.

 
yea, so at stratton, the pipe on main mountain sucks...... i dunno why it does, it looks fine but feels like poo. the other pipe is a littel above the other base lodge. its nasty.

Sunday Rivers pipe is going to be insane during spring skiing. People have taken it for 16 foot airs when its been ice. Its so large that you have a lot more transition to work. The monster quarter is a blast too. It truly is a 22 ft pipe, they have the largest cutter in the world...the Zaugg its badass to watch josh run that thing into the walls. Peace Joe

 
1260skier....dude when you can't put an edge into the flat ground in between the two walls, the pipe sucks. the shape was decent so i guess if they had some real snow on it right now it wouldn't be bad. it was probably just the day i was there.

what is their park looking like now?

 
hehe sunapee.....whenever that big air thingy was. the pipe was HELL. a death bed. do they still have it up? i hope so. i wanna ride pipe on sunday dammit.

yah bjc i was just kiddin man. um there park is anasty halpipe a 37 foot tall quater pipe a table with 2 hits and a couple rails. go to loon. MC the pipe actually got really good at sunappe this weeknd. they moved the left wall abck so there is more of a flat bottom. its decent.Ya that day the pipe sucked and so did that comp.
