I wanted to get a skunk... yes you can get the glands removed so they dont stink. but not sure...

Monkeys arent worth it, they shit everywhere, the permits and construction needed to house them are expensive, you have to be there around them ALL the time and when they get older they get extremely violent and fuck EVERYTHING up.

I wonder if theres any animals you can get to ski, if seen a skate boarding dog. Maybe if we removed the brakes..

last time i checked, you cant train a jack russel to not bark in an annoying yappy way... i guess you could train it to not bark at all, but i want my dogs to bark when somoene comes to the door or something.

plus they look like fucking rats.

i dont know what it is, but my cats are obsessed with me. they come when you call, they meow and just don't piss off constantly when they need to be rubbed and pet and all that jazz. they all have their little motors going too when you pick em up.
turtles look cool, but they're too much work. a lot of cleaning.

Cats are dece, but Im definatley a dog person. I think Im a little alergic to cats as well haha :P. In a recent competition on overall best pet, dogs JUST beat cats. but still, they did. Heard it on the radio.

well i definitely would get a dog if i was starting from new. but dogs are like having children. haha the best children ever!

do you really think calling me a fucking idiot as many times as you can will make you any less retarded?

Like a few of the posters before me, I had a ferret and he was awesome. He would even got to the bathroom on command so you didnt have to worry about him shitting everywhere. The average lifespan on them is 7-9, but they become more susceptible to disease at 2-3 years which often ends their lifes early. They make great companions because they have so much personality and might be nice if you dont want quite as long a commitment as you would get with a dog.

However if you do decide to get a dog, I strongly suggest that you get one from your local shelter. They are taking in way too many pets these days and need all the help they can get, and the best dogs I've ever owned have all been mixed breeds, because often times you get the more desired qualities of each breed without all the temperment and health issues.

So true, Pure bred dogs are extremely suceptable to health issues because of the amount of inbreeding that goes one to get the desired qualities. I was about to get a Leonberger/Goldenretriever mix last month but came to the conclusion that I wouldn't be able to give it enough attention at this point in my life. In a few years though it's on.

I have two Cairn terriers because they don't shed and they're both really fun, especially one of them who always wants to play. But if you don't mind the shedding I would say go with a lab too. I've never met a lab before that's not a good dog.

Same with humans, need to breed with other nationalities. Variety is the spice of life ;)

always the way to go. I have five of them, and as long as they're trained, they're the best dogs around. the will ALWAYS love you.
