Best part-time job youve ever had as a teenager

full time construction is soo sick, its not that hard and when i came home after the summer everyone said i was ripped now and i didnt even have to do any working out. plus you can make way more money

baseball umpire
when i was 17 i became high school certified and got paid 42-48 dollars a game for 2 hours work, i made $7200 my summer before my senior year and usually only had to work one evening game everyday...easily the best money anyone my age made
not to mention they always paid for my lodging at tournaments, i got to stay at steamboat for three weeks for free, and they gave us mad hookups for beer

i went clambakeing yesterday, easiest job ever, and made $150 for 8 hours of hanging out with my friends.

my best job was working at Zumiez (yeah, they sell snowboards). I made 7.25 an hour (min wage was 6.25 at the time) But 2% commission on sales over $100 which was easy cause I was a girl working the skate counter and every purchase was over $100 pretty much. I would average around $15 an hour. 50% discount any time I sold over $2000 in a day, $20 gift card every time i sold over $4000 in a day. That and every year they sent those of us that made over $100,000 in the year on an all expense paid trip to Utah to go snowboarding (I no longer snowboard).
Now I work at a ski shop so I haven't moved to far up in life... But I get paid more hourly but don't get commission. I do get shop forms, a 40% discount, HEALTHCARE, and an unusually large amount of free stuff. I think healthcare is the selling point for the job though. And good health care at that. 20% deductible up to $2000 then 0% after and I can go to any doctor I choose. Then 20% for medications. It's better than my parents healthcare.

worked as a bank teller for 3 summers straight. best job ever. met some awesome people, made good connections, and it was perfect for me getting my real job after college. Plus playing with thousands and thousands of dollars is fun

ha im a manager at a zumiez store, i actually really like it cuz i get mad discounts. i also just skate in the store on slow nights. its pretty dope

Yeah pretty much every trick I learned on a Skateboard was while working. I really did love that job. I worked at the Mall of America Shop and the one in Ontario Mills, CA

Worked on the cart crew at a golf course for most of highschool. Smoked weed everyday at work. Also even drank with my co-workers many times on the job. Its pretty chill to just smoke weed and mash around golf carts all day. Ive got thousands of hours in those things and i can drive them like a G.

same, i was with a company that built in ground pools.

the work was really physical but wasnt that bad. paid realllly good though

surf lifeguard manly beach which is as busy as bondi if u have seen that bondi rescue show.

stuffed about on quads, rode zodiacs, jetskis, surfed all day, meet fit girls on the beach, outside, get super fit. thats why i did it for 6 years

i worked for a translation firm online for a good chunk of highschool.

Pay was excellent when there was work (there was work close to everyday, but only some projects really added up).

But it was chill since I was able to work on my computer, doing whatever I wanted whenever, while executing some sick projects and paddin that resume.

Team leader for an online electronics shop.. still get mad hookups for electronics.. just got 40% on a canon Rebel T1i / 500d D-SLR.

shhh, nobody's supposed to know about my undercover work
also in the summers i teach chill hippy kids how to mountain bike...its sick

working at an apple orchard, pumpkin patch / working farm attraction..

so much fun, drive tractors, pick apples, pumpkins, squash. plus my boss is the coolest guy EVER. dont get me wrong it is not an easy job, pick hay wagons full of pumpkins all day and you will be beat. but its still the best part time job ever.

here is an example.

who has had a boss that when a customer comes up while we are taking a "smoke break" (no one smokes) and says in a very concerned tone " one of your goats is out of its pen" Curt looks him straight in the eye and says in the driest tone ever. "o, thats ok, actually if you have a gun, feel free to just shoot him"

I worked at my dads at&t stores then I would travel with him when he did auctions. It was awesome, got to travel all summer.

Well my part time winter job is to coach a freestyle skiing team for my local mountain...i smoke lots of weed and get to ski park with like 20 kids between ages 10 and 19 all dayand i get an hour to myself midday to eat a sandwhich and phishbowl my car before heading back out...not gonna lie its pretty rad...
