Best part time job for a high school kid

being a caddy at a country club is by far best hs job i had.you get paid extremely well (for one round carrying 2 bags i made 300) if the golfers like you, you can go out twice a day and make double and all the money is paid in cash.Since most people at country clubs there are usually pretty wealthy other jobs come up along with caddying.One of the guys who i regularly caddied for in the summer payed me 1,000 a day to drive his kids around to where ever they wanted since there mom just had plastic surgery and it was in there dope range rover.and you get free golf on Mondays.
 
Hahah well it's kind of a funny story. This guy that runs the business has been doing it his entire life, he started it with his dad. Literally obsessed with fucking selling ice cream.

But anyways I got into it because its kinda been a tradition for the guys in my group/town to drive the trucks. So once I was 18 (you gotta be 18) I called the guy up and was hired pretty easily.

It was actually tough work, 12 hour days and since we worked on commission we were fucking hustling all around to sell as much as we can. After a few weeks I could tell when and where to be at the exact minute to sell the most hahah.

As far as pay goes, we got 25% commission plus tips. On an average day, i'd sell around 400-450 bucks worth of cream, so thats around 100 bucks in my pocket everyday plus around 40-50 bucks in tips depending on what town/route you did. So it wasn't bad.

But yes eating ice cream and chilling at the beach all summer was a pretty good gig.
 
damn son what course? im did it the past two years at the international in bolton, mass. its a hell of a course they claim longest in the world if you play it from the tips, and super exclusive, so no free golf for us :( still a pretty good job, never did a double bag but i made $650 in the 3 day club championship this past year, and got $120 to drive a guy around for 18 since he did something to his leg where he couldnt drive a cart or walk but could still play hahaha

highly recommend caddying if your 14-16 and want to make some ymcmb
 
fresh meadows county club on long island we get allot of the big shots from the city who come down here and just blow there money like there's no end.We even had mayor giuliani come play a few times here and some celebs in the pro-am.
 
fuck, I looked into this and you gotta be 21 for the main company around me. that seriously sounds so sick, idgaf if its 12 hours days haha.
 
i was a lot attendent all through high school at a car dealership. pretty good job i must say. pay wasn't took bad, and if you felt like it/had to, you can be really busy and time flies by. or, if you just feel like lazing around, test driving different cars, drifting the old trucks that are going to auction anyway for 2 grand, or taking the occasional nap. kinda depends on the dealership you work at i suppose
