Best park on east coast

How big (in feet) are the jumps at Killington? I'm going to Dartmouth next year, and I think Killington is nearby.
 
not even joking sugarloaf's park had a ton of flow this year and was super fun plus they had one of the first jump lines on the east.
 
Stowe was so much fun early season. I can't say for mid/late season because I tore my ACL end of January, but the park was sick then. Carinthia always kills it, I haven't been to Loon in like 3 years but LMP was dope back then. Butternut it fun for a small mountain.
 
i ski killington daily over the winter. they got a huge range of jumps. 20 foot gaps and occasionaly theyll build up some thirty or 40 footers. they didnt have that huge of jumps this year but still legit. and killigntons like 45 minutes from dartmouth
 
loon stowe and carinthia in that order.. snwo jumps r wierd i dont like that way they r built but loon has like nicely shaped and wide booters from like dec til end of the year stowe is all aroud awsome... snow has a lto of parks and there own lift for park and rails r sick there
 
But where else r u gona ski that has all that wierd shit u would have never thought of?????All it does is make u think outside the box a lil bcuz its not setup like a feature would normally be. Loons crazy wierd features are sick and they have plenty of normal features to go along with them all over the mountain. also want to point out how early in the season they open the park and how long they keep it open.
 
definitely mount snow. loon is deinitely NOT one of the best. really small and no direct easy lift access. garbage if you ask me.
 
i think creek was the last mountain open on the east. today was the last day. but they werent open for a while. they had a good season this year. if only it was bigger
 
Well obviously i'm biased because i'm from NJ, but compared to Stowe, which I go to at least once every season, Mountain Creek definitely holds its own especially late in the season when the big jump line is open and every freaking square inch of south and bear is covered in features.
 
let me elaborate. the setup was a 20ish ft dfd to 10 ft down to 10 ft up to 3 foot wide flat box. that is what i mean by baby rails. had a million times more fun just hiking the darkside park and was so relieved to get back to ohio and ski something legit. R2R setup looked fun. too bad i wasnt able to hit it
 
theyre not the greatest coming from the kid who skis their every weekend, theyre small but fun, i think the biggest is like 35' tops, but im hoping that not building the pipe jump in the last couple of years has been due to snow wise, lets pray for a pipe jump this year
 
this. sugarloaf had great parks this year for sure. It was great riding them.

Carinthia (sp) never has impressed me that much tbh, every rail seems so low to the ground and mellow. Try hitting some of the dfd's at the loaf, they are steep fuckers.
 
Okemo and Stowe had sick parks this year! No one gives okemos amp park much credit. The one day I went to okemo it was gaper day and it was 80 degrees no joke. I learned so much that day. That's my opinion. And .max. You know Bolton sucks
 
you guys can have your crowded mt snow parks.. ill definitely stay at strattons sun bowl where its empty! and its flows awesome!
 
killy's jumps are fun, it sucks in the spring though. You can't get any speed at all for the jumps. They need to make that hip that everyone drops in on bigger so you can get more speed
 
as far as jibs go, east coast and west are about the same, some of the jumps out west are bigger but it really depends on which resort and that resorts terrain and snowfall. Out west definitely slays the east as far as BC features go
 
ugh. mt snow has never impressed me. ever. my vote for best east park would have to be loon. creek is hellaaaa tight but it takes them a long time to open everything considering the weather, but once there running i would put them best.
 
Thats what i was thinking, now i havent been to many parks over in vermont or quebec but MSLM has a sick park and i would think that it can easily challenge some of the bigger resort's parks, but like radtad said it has classic features mainly
 
bristol mountain got 2nd place in the poll from snoweast magazine for "best terrain park"

too bad it FUCKING SUCKS.

but boulder has a sick park. and i didnt ride it, but i heard MT. snow was insane this year.
 
Ive ridden loon, bear creek, boulder, jackfrost, blue, hunter, gore, elk, sevensprings and some others that i guess didnt impress me enough to even remember and i have to say seven springs was the best. i was there when it was super warm so the big jumpline wasnt hittable but their park was so much fun. everything was on point and not one feature was rutted the whole time, even at night. Their medium jumpline was fun.
 
meh, mt tremblant gets hyped up way to much, i went there this winter expecting it to be killer since im from toronto..but i get up there and its only OK for the size of the hill. they just need more shit in it
