Best park in the Midwest?

Chestnuts park is pretty good. It has it's own lift and is on the back side of the hill. Not many gapers go into it then.

Afton Alps should be better this year than last year (also bought by vail) and getting improvements from Snow Park Technologies. We won't know how good it will actually be this year yet. Hyland is nice, but extremely crowded most days.
Anyways, personal favorite is Giants Ridge. It is a gem that hardly anybody knows about, it's always fun. Big park doesn't open until late January- early February. They have a massive jump line, and a floaty jump that's about 25' with the softest landing of any jump in the midwest (perfect for tricks 720 and below), a couple of kink rails, 3-4 fat tubes, shotguns, high flat bar, almost every rail is ollie on (urban style) which feels tight. They get better every year too.
Otherwise the rails at trollhaugen are awesome. Like just awesome.

I agree, Giant's ridge is a hidden gem. Their park is sick as hell, and almost all empty. Just a lot of racers up there. Really great place to ski if you're willing to drive a while.

-Hyland Hills generally has a very good park. However, it's almost always packed with kids, icy, and filled with bombholes
-Trollhaugen has great rail setups. Not sure about jumps.
-Afton Alps should be crazy good this year since Vail bought them out and is improving their park.
-Spirit Mountain has a great park once it's all set up.
Wisconsin
-Tyrol Basin has a sick park
-Giant's Ridge has some of the biggest jumps in the midwest, and one of the best parks.
Michigan
-Cannonsburg. Watch some edits - they generally have some creative features and nice jumps.
-Brighton was bought by Vail and may be great this upcoming season.
Indiana
-Perfect North Slopes. The middle of Indiana is probably the last place you'd expect a great park to be, but sheeeit. I went here on a school trip last year and was quite impressed. Jumps were proper and there were some burly rails set up.

and then granite peak is fucking amazing in wisconsin
and a fun place where you can hot lap the most jib able fun shit from 9 to 10- elm creek
wild mountain is always fun in minnesota for slick rails, and wall rides
buck hill is getting a pretty awesome facelift with their rails, they just got a new park company destoylabs, that being said it has always had the best jump line in the Metro.
if your going to hyland, go on a weekday.
Afton will probably be good this year, but usually its a pain in the ars because of chairs older than the dinosaurs. and 5 minute laps for a midwest park. That being said it should be good this year.
Summit skatepark is fun if they actually have snow in the backyard.
Lutsen is fun when they get lake effect snow storms.

Definitely say my home hill, Powder Ridge Minnesota. They host the Master Shredder, which is like the biggest skiing competition in the Midwest. They usually kill it.

Cannonsburg MI fer sure... besides it being overrun by snowboarders. Monster teamed up with cannonsburg and gave it 50,000 dollars over two years for a whole new park. Cannonsburg has 6 different parks for each levels of progression. Here are some pictures.
. Next to the moster city park is the Projects full of prime rails.

Also still toying with the idea of doing a few seasons in the midwest eventually. "Mtns" are small. It looks griggin cold and icy, but thw park vibes are strong and thats what it's all about.
I have a soft spot for the smaller mtns, and the regions that aren't really destinations.
Following a lot of midwest parks in social. Pine knob looks sick these days.
