Calabogie is opening today(dec. 13th 2003) for the weekend and i hope they have some rails or hits set up by next weekend. If anyone has been out this year to any hill (in the ottawa area) send me a message please because i want a good hill to go to for next sat(dec. 20/04) thanks

Calabogies Park has started, we have the kink, the flat bar and c rainbow up and the new rails will be up next week.

By tremblant sucking alot of the boxs and rails they had set up Where sticking like a bitch no matter how much speed you had
THey had 2 boxes that slid well but everything else was near impossible
Too many little kids and parents going through the park with no freaken respect.
I wanna start ripping through family trails tuck styles poles a flailin and see how many parents get peaved at me! hahaha

eh eh eh... i caught my tips then face planted and it still kills! and everything was poorly positioned. I could plan a better park with all those boxes and rails. they should make it possible to git both big jumps not have to skip one to get decent air off the second one.
Maybe i am bitter, but for 66 fucking bucks the park should be better.

i don't know how anyone can compare trmeblant's park to calabogie. Just the fact that that guy was asking if calabogie had there park open while tremblant already has 4 hits and 7 jibs of speaks for itself. 4 big hits and 7 jibs ,any other hill around have that. No challenge, just asking.

it isn't possible to compare tremblants park and calaboie's due to the huge amount of funding tremblant gets, aswell as the amount of freedom they have for building stuff because they have way better insurance then the peaks. the one thing calabogie had that tremblant didn't was a 50footer all year. i beleive calabogie had the best park in the ottawa area last year and it will be this year. but all i can do is work with the amount of snow we get. but i got some very interesting idea's for jumps and rails this year, that i hope everyone will like.

No one ever talks about Moonstone, such a nice park, nice rails and nice booters. Lots of beginner rails that helped me slide rails.

avila is so sick. but if you like big jumps and crazy rails, plus some smaller stuff and live near ottawa, you gotto check out calabogie peaks.

Calabogies rails KILL packenhams. The yare well setup usually and are fun to hit. Pakcenhamm has some nice jumps but they arent as big as calabogies. However, packenham grooms their park every morning so the jumps arent icy and the box is fun and its defnitly a very emjoyable park, but it doesnt push limits like calabogies.

i like pakenhams park just to go after school and have some fun, but it gets boring skiing it all day. Calabogie is better for all day skiing though. I havent been to Calaboige since they put the jumps up. They are both pretty good though. Pakenham is more for a beginner kinda like me but Calabogie is more of an advantaced with their rails but their jumps are awsome(at least last year they were and i hope they are this year).

yea pakenhams park is open weeknights til 10 so thats where everyone goes after school, its actually alot of fun sessioning all the stuff they have there...... and there is always someone to ride with there.....

ya pakenham had good stuff set up but the jumps are too small. the first jump i cleared the landing totaly i landed so flat and i had to use the blades also cause the tips in my skis are splitting. the rails are nice but i have noticed rails on twins are alot easier than on blades or at least i find. the box there is way too short but i love hitting it anyways. overall it is a good park to fool around in after school or work
