Calabogie has the best park around here.... seriously.... i has a 'C' rail and a nice kink and a flat and a huge rainbow and a mailbox and a wooden box and 6 nice jumps ranging from 5- 15 feet and the whole park is finished off by a huge 35 foot kicker.... and soon they will get a wooden stairset with a urban style handrail goin over the 14 set its gonna be kick ass..

blue has a superpipe, giant ass kinked rail, 1 big flat rail, 3 smaller flat rails, big rainbow, big trapezoid rail, 30 ft ish kicker and a 20 ft table. (last time i was there) And its just getting started! :D

andy stewart is designing calabogies park. Hes a pro skiboarder and used to be sponsered by canon. If u ever saw this guy ride, it would change your entire perspective on skiboarding. he most definately will do a good job on the park, cant wait to get up there!

I was helicoptered off the hill yesterday and had to spend the night in hospital. A boarder skied through some slow signs and straight into my back and they found a spinal fracture. Luckily it turned out to be old

phew'- BAWB, not worried about an old spinal fracture, just a new one.....
 
When did calabogie get a 'C' rail? I was there 3 days ago and they only had 2 rails, a straight one and a kinked one, oh and that little mailbox by the lift. Their park is pretty good though, lots of nice jumps, probably one of the better parks around the Ottawa area.

So Calabogie has 2 rails and how many jumps up? I'm thinking of going this weekend, the Jan. 11th weekend. Or is fortune better?

Calabogie is awsome. Ive been up twice this year and wasnt dissapointed. I was there last weekend and they had like 5 or 6 jumps ranging from small to big. A rainbow rail, a straight rail and a up to flat to down rail.

Does the dessigner of the park also ski? I saw a guy with some scratchs and he was fixing everything.

And its much better than fortune. I hate fortune.

 
I think I have the bets park around in my backyard. I have a fourwheeler that I can plow snow around with and I have a hitch on the back that has a huge roller that I use for grommign nad packign the snow. It has 4 rails. A 30 foot long wooden tree rail, it's nice and slippery. A 18 foot metal double barrel rail. A 10 foot long plastic rail that is 6 feet high with a nice kicker onto it. and a double barrel metal rail with a single kink. I also have a kink funbox that is 6 inches wide and slide really nice. I got the shop and welding class at my schoo lto make these, I just ahd to buy the supplies and they made them free of charge, it was pretty sweet. I think I spent all my birthday money from the summer. I also have a kicker that kicks you nice and high and far and is good for any kind of trick and a smaller kicker that is good for practicing stylie spins with grabs and for my beginer friends. all jumps land into huge powder, like 2 feet than tI'veplowed onto the landing with my four wheeler, I have a big lawn, so it's lots of snow. My park is better than any one that is yet open in the Ottawa area.

the guy fixing the jumps was andy stewart, yeah i guess he helps design their park and hes a really sick skier, anyway, ill be up at calabogie on sunday (the 12th) if anyones going, give me a holla on this forum.

yea Andy Stewart is the park manager.... he manages the park.... i ride there all the time ill be there this saturday the 11.. Andy wont be back from the ericsson big air but anytime you seee him on the hill hes always up for new ideas about the park.... that place can only have beter things to come..... i rode it wednesday the 8th and it was sooooo smooth i got first tracks in the park.... the last 25 footer is so nice..... but yea im goin there saturday the 11th so if anyone else is then message me.... if anyone wants exact park specs then just ask me.... pakenham isnt doin too bad either they just doubled there park size and tonite (thurs the 9th) they were working on a couple nice booters and they ordered a couple new rails like a trap and shit.... im so stoked for saturday

I'll be at calabogie on saturday. The only problem is i'm teaching my buddy how to ski. But I will still hit the park for a bit. I'll be on dynastar concepts.

 
Devils Glen, has a tabletop rail, ogar kink rail, 2 flat bars, an amazing pipe, a 30 footer, 15 footer, 10 footer, 20 footer, and a box jump! sickest park ever no lines, everything is clean!, some preety good skiers, not swamped my boarders, has insane flow you can do the park and the pipe in the same run!

 
it turns out ste marie is going to have an AMAZING park this year. they even claim it will be the best in the east... the final park will include 23 hits(about 13 or so is a part of the boardercross run) 7 rails and 2 or 3 box jibs. i was there yesterday and they had some of their old rails (2 kinks, small flat)a box kink and a box rainbow. they had 4 BIG tables, all which needed lots of work on

 
went to msm this weekend... not the best park.. the jumps were crap but they have a kinked box a rainbow box and two kinked rails so it was fun

devil's glen sucks some major ass cock... it's private, but they don't check tickets there... it's full of a bunch of racers so they really are wasting their time if they try and build a good park (especially with blue just down the road).

I've got a 20 foot gap jump at my house and 3 rails, a 14 foot single rail thats 5 feet high, a 10 foot low single rail, and a 36 foot ABS single rail a foot off the ground, I'm also going to make an S rail out of my trampoline and put some ABS pipe over it so theres no ridges

yeah i went to the ryders village wakefest there last year...actually cuz my cottage is right there...anyhow it was a blast, if you ppl can make it out this summer do it for sure

 
Mont St. Maires park is really dissapointing. Ever since they got sold by intrawest, all they care about is racing.. thye have one jump that has a 40 foot table, but has no speed, and like 3 kink rails that arent worth the 2 hour trip...he pipe isnt too amazing either.. they better step it up soon..

wakefest at calabogie was a wicked party last year, everybody had a wicked time and everybody was gettin fucked up, definitely worth goin to, bikini contest was wicked, the riding was awesome but the night was by far the most fun, lots of skiers there to talk to same with snowboarders, some really hot chicks and booze everywhere.

theres no wakefest this year. i was talkin to someone in riders village(they put it on) and they said that calabogie refused to hold it again because shitloads of damage was done to their property lastyear
