best park in tahoe

ya ill prob go to squaw in 2 weeks when i get ma new skis..YAy!....ill c ppl up there probably......if u see me, ill be the one on red 2003 concepts and i will probably try to jump but will fall......aits

sadly enough.. squaw doesnt have much happening in the way of park right now... one table, the rivera pipe, and a bunch or rails/boxes... once they get the mainline park and the superpipe goin in a week or so, it should be a contender...

-all you need are drums to start a dance party-

i wuld go to mammoth but i have no ride.....cant wait till i kan drive....im only 14......since swquaw suks ill go to.....wherever.......c ya guys on the slopes.....

i was at squaw today, i am pleased to see that the superpipe is finally uner construction... in mere days i will be satisfied... untill then all the nice wind pack will sustain me...

Northstar's superpipe is perfect, right now they have good rails, 3 nice hits, a hip and two smaller tables, i'm happy cause i ski there for free = )

i just relized something...im stupid...mammoth is obviously not in tahoe so i don't know why i came up w/ that.

if you want to jump big jumps go to mammoth and you can also ride a 22 foot halfpipe. but if you like long flowing slopestyle type parks go to june. tahoe just plane sucks

Alpine usually has a 65' table at the prime of spring. Last year (or the year before), there was a really sick JOI style gap with a wide takeoff and a steep lip as the last jump of the line.

Usually Kangaroo has a 4 jump line, a seperate booter on Nick's run with NOTHING in the way of the inrun, and a rail line next to the jump line. The jump line is really quite big(1st jump is usually 25feet, and they get progressively bigger), and the booter is huge (seen Kangs, dub corks, dub flips, etc. tossed on it in years past). For a smaller line, look to Kangaroo Ridge, which usually has some cool jibs (tire, giant rope bobbin, oil drum, spine with a big fat log on it, etc) and a poppy line of small 15-20 foot jumps.

oops. It's still relevant timing to the ski season, though. I don't can see someone asking that in the very near future...

Does kirkwood's park suck? ive never been there might be goin there this year though...sorta worried, havent heard too much about kirkwood

wow I just didn't realize how old the thread i was bumping was. I clicked "last" instead of "next". But it's still relevant to the time of year.

they have a crazy gnarly rainbow, a couple long down rails, and normally a three jump line. the thing is, its over so fast, and the lines are crazy. The park is just really small....\

if your going to kirkwood though PM me, i need more people to ski there with hehe

agreed, mammoth is always good but its not tahoe.

word on the streets is that Heavenly, boreal and vingvale are the only real parks up right now worth visiting.... Heavenly had a park open on thanksgiving on upper cal trail- med park with 3 med. jump line 11features and some fun recycled features. everything on good podiums and lots of tranny (things arent just sitting on inches of snow).
