Best park in France

So I'm heading to France for the year to ski/work. I know that most of the resorts out there have crazy backcountry zones which I'll be very stoked to explore. But, as we all know, a good day in the park when there is no fresh powder is always very fun. So my question is : what is the best park in France ?I was thinking about Tignes/Val d'Isere(Killy), Avoriaz/Crosets (Portes du Soleil) or Les 2 Alpes.
 
Go ride France and even when the snow isn't good you won't want to ride park. It sounds like crazy talk, but go ski Chamonix for a bit and your life will be changed. Take my word for it, you won't need a park.
 
i was in les 2alpes this easter and the park was prettttyy good. a ton of rails but the kickers were bollocks. val has got a pretty sweet park but its quite small
 
None of those three have bad parks, unless you are coming from breck or mammoth you will like those three. The riding at all three is unbelievable though.
 
I am going to Meribel for the first time this christmas so does anyone know what the park is like there and are there any other good parks in nearby resorts?
 
Meribel parks are good, but as Chamonix and Verbier or something is connected with Meribel , it's sick because you can change parks every day.

Best park in France is la Cluzas. It's pretty much where every french famous freestyle skiier has come out of: Thovex, Bertonis, Krief
 
False. We've got a good jump line of 3 kickers with a smaller one and a bigger one on each side. bigger ones are better maintained yeah but i wouldnt describe them as being "bollocks". Then we've got a big 80ft kicker on its own which is pretty sick and perfectly built. Decent variety of rails and little jibs. The town is sick too, heaps of bars and pubs and its amazing on a pow day. So yeah i thouroughly reccommend it mate!
 
Thanks for the reply, should be good then, can't wait to explore all the different parks, is there a lift ticket for the whole area or would it be easier to buy day tickets and spend a different day skiing a different resort
 
Meribel's park is pretty shit, and it is not linked to any of the afforementioned resorts, it's i Les 3 Vallees, so it's linked to Val Thorens, Les Menuires, Courchevel and some small resorts, biggest skiing area in the world. However the only park worth riding there is Val Thorens, and it's not even that good. Hit up Avoriaz or La Clusaz.
 
i have been to meribel 4 times it is in the 3 valles area which is huge ( courcheval, val dsaire and meribel) meribel is the best to stay in as it is in the middle . i would recommended getting a 3 valley pass. there are two parks in meribel: meribel moon park which had quite a few large jumps but not many rails and then the motteret park further up the mountain. this had a superpipe several kickers ( small 3 line and 3 larger jumps ) also quite a few rails ( flat/rainbox box flat rail and several other creative features. also a boardercross and some lumps. val dsiere also had a good park with a large kicker line and a large step up to flat and then a drop off. also a hip with a barrel several smaller jumps and a variety of rails.courcheval didnt really have much in the way of park
 
I've skied in the Portes du Soleil 4 years running now and have never been let down by the terrain parks. All the resorts in the region link up so you've basicly got 8 or so resorts to chose from every time you head up the lift. Avoriaz is pretty central so you can ski in almost any direction from there and it always has a good park scene, particularly good for progession as you've got all sizes of jumps. The Les Crosets park is really near too and thats always got decent sized hits. And every year there are at least 2 super-pro jumps that go up which are occasionally open to hit, safety isnt a huge deal in France! The natural terrain in this region has to be more impressive than the parks though still.

Can't say I've personally skied some of the other areas suggested so I can't knock them but I can guarantee you'll have a good time here.
 
Thanks for the infos. I'll definitely be looking into Portes du Soleil area. And due to the number of resorts, it'll probably be easy to find a nice job.
 
Val d'isere has an awsome park and val d'isere is linked to tignes... Otherwise vars and les7laux have great parks to, make sure you check up on vars...
 
Has anyone ridden all three areas and can compare their parks (Portes du Soleil, Tignes-d'Isere and 2 Alpes) ?
