I'm thinking of going to college in Colorado and i am mostly a park rat so i want to know what resort has the best park. Also what resort has the best terrain?

well steamboat has a pretty sick park. they dont have the best jumps but they got some sick rails and a HUGE superpipe. i think its the biggest in america or something.

yea the maverick superpipe is no slouch, but the best park in colorado would have to be breck, or maybe vail, or maybe buttermilk, or maybe copper, ha theyre all rad parks

why is it always windy at breck? cause keystone blows. seriously though, i don't think any hill can proclaim overall best park.

breck has an awesome pipe and hits but even though they have an abumdance of rails, the quality is lacking and sometimes they're set up kind of weird.

copper's park is okay during the winter but come spring it's very nice. it also has the best flow. 3-4 hits at the top followed by rails and then the pipe at the end all on one run. it's my second home so message me if you have questions.

haven't skied steamboat for a while but they had a 600+ foot long pipe last season. we'll see what this season looks like...

keystone stuck a rail on top of a bus and now think they're great but they need lessons on setting it up to hit and building jumps. their rails and a few hits i think are still lit at night.

went to aspen for the x games last season. buttermilk's, features are as you can imagine, huge. however, the hill it's on is fairly flat so speed's kind of an issue.

didn't ski vail last season, but went for the freeskiing open big air at night. it was cold and icy as hell. you can see their entire park from i-70. it looked pretty good (big features) but was seriously lacking in snow around february. brown patches everywhere.

i saw some footage from beaver creek's park and it look good. they were mostly rail and quarter pipe shots. can't really comment on that one.

don't even get me started on winter park's park. they claim it's 2 miles long but quality is seriously lacking. they had a couple of good hits at the bottom of the first part of the park and a few on the run on the side of the pipe. better to stick to backcountry (i.e. the cirque) or mary jane.

Aspen/Snowmass, we have 4 mountains with plenty of park, big mountain, and everything. Buttermilk, Ajax, Snowmass, Highlands! And we have the CMC college here! Seriously the best resort in colorado! and dope party/club scene too!

i'd say Breck is best overall, steamboat's has the 2nd best pipe but it gets icy, at least when i'm there and although they have 2 sick jumps in a row, that's it...no variety

breck has everything, two seperate rows of jumps, with rails scattered everywhere, the best pipe, two chairlifts to choose from, Breck takes it

Colorado Mtn College in Steamboat! Great small school with great dorms...and a guaranteed transfer of credits to any 4 year university in the state. Campus is like 5 minutes from the slopes.

breck=sick, vail=sick, aspen=sick, steamboat=sick, keystone (this year will)=sick rails, copper-sick (tufflemire runs it now, it is dope!)

colorado is sick, and you should go to as many places as you can

Somtimes I just like to sit back and allow all the ignorant people in this world easily ammuse me. Other times they just piss me off.

Buttermilk no challenge! that park was amde for the x-games and it is 2 miles long! it would be exfuckingspensive to live in aspen though. you could live in Bassalt and drive about 1/2 hr to Buttermilk

man i agree with everyone about brecks rails...i think it's the fact that they have nothing underneath them, so you could get caught up and twist a knee very easily, which isn't very appealing to anyone. they do have a real nice pipe tho, i wish it was longer. steamboat should be way better this year and esp the year following.
